The doctor? Doctor who?

I'm not sure what you're referring to. The Doctor's accidentally calling VIncent Rory? Vincent's mention of Amy's sadness? Otherwise I don't think I noticed anything.
There's a bit where I swear I saw Rory walk past Amy and the Doctor while they weren't looking. It might have just been me.

I never saw it either, what scene was it? I can go back and have a look on iPlayer.

...Enjoyable, although did have a few Deus ex Machinima moments I thought.

That's Doctor Who for you. Given Russell T Davis had been employing a massive big red reset button for the last 5 years it was nice to see something more thought out.

It is in the first bit with Vincent van Guff at the cafe getting his drink on, right before Vincent comes out the door.

This?

I don't think it's him but then it does look a lot like him and it is only a split second shot.

Yeah, that. It wasn't as clear on my DVR as that, and because of that the clothing seemed much more anachronistic. I guess it is nothing, although... that actually would have been a cool place to stick Rory, don't you think? Not having seen the finale, I guess I can't say.

Without giving too much away about the finale that wouldn't have been entirely impossible.
I had the feeling... it wasn't hard to tell that we hadn't seen the last of Rory. :D

I like Rory, he's getting a lot of hate but I think he's a decent character and a lot more likeable than Amy. Actually she's getting a lot of hate too, but she makes up for it with tiny skirts.

 I just found out they're not airing The Lodger this week (the station's been doing special programming since Canada Day on Thursday, but I'd just assumed this would be treated like a regular Saturday...)

That was pure awesome!

:!: :!: :!:

I'm gonna get the DVD for sure. They said they'd be rerunning the series in the fall, so I'm thrilled, can't wait to watch again.

I take it you've seen The Pandorica Opens and The Big Bang then? :D

Yes. :D Definitely looking forward to the next series. But I guess that won't be till next spring or summer (after the Christmas special).

Meanwhile, Space is rerunning the show (beginning with Rose). They're now up to The Lazarus Experiment.

I was never a big fan of season 3. I never warmed to Martha that well, althought that said the Human Nature/Family of Blood 2 parter is some of the best drama I've seen in a while. As for this season, I had to spend an hour explaining to my mum what a paradox was :p

Also, not sure if you guys will get to see it but the head writer and show runner and another Who writer have done a 3 part contempory adaptation of Sherlock Holmes which is so far so excellent. If you can hunt out the first episode in an legal manner at some point I really recomend it. I'm predicting the 12th Doctor right there.

Masterpiece Theater (PBS) has picked it up; don't know when it will air though.

I thought Martha was good, a really nice contrast with Rose (except for the 'I'm so in love with him, but he's still stuck on his last girl he won't give me a second look." undercurrent; it just doesn't seem to mesh with her general demeanour).

Gotta agree with you about Human Nature/Family of Blood. Awesome acting on Tennant's part.

Not long to the new season now :D

I thought I saw this quick glimpse when I saw the trailer on TV so I managed to cap it:

Rory in the old TARDIS. Methinks the new season will be awesome.
