I've been thinking about doing this kind of thing (a sort of Idiot's guide to science) for a while, only problem I'm not versed byond an american High School education on any of the topics I want to cover, and there are many I'd like to cover.

I could not date a creationist either. It would be far to much of a headache and a major strain on the relationship, because one of us would constantly be trying to convince the other our respective positions where correct....

May I add my two cents to this Moral code discussion. While I think it is a good idea to have a moral code (I have one I follow, developed over many years, taken from many sources.), I don't think a "Cultural" or "Traditional" code would be a good thing. traditions can get stuck in the time...

That method might work, assuming we don't run into someone else trying to do the same thing along the way.

Agreed completely, though oddly enough it's never gotten me into trouble, but has actually helped me a lot.

I don't really have any superstitious behaviors any more. For me it was easy to shed them, and it's annoying when I see family members do them, like throwing spilled salt over ones shoulder to avoid bad luck. I mean come on... Though there is one thing that was listed I've never heard of...
