Higher unemployment rate would be evidence of Biden doing worse.
You'd have to be reeeeeally motivated by tribalist politics to believe that's actually the case now.
Not sure if you're aware, but there's been this little pandemic raging across the world killing people and societies have closed down swathes of their public life in order to counter it. That has many effects; one being that a lot of businesses are on the ropes and either shutting down or laying off workers to survive the lack of custom.
The 'handling' of this situation was entirely under the Trump administration - and what a fucking mess they made of it!
That's why Trump's administration ended up being one of the only modern presidencies to end leaving fewer jobs than when their term started. How are you going to spin that one?
Of course, it's not fucking magic either, is it? It's not like a new president walks into office and alakazam... jobs are created with a determined wiggle of the nose and appropriately chanted words.
Rather, it takes some time which anyone credible, serious, motivated by honesty etc. would acknowledge. Time to create policies and have them get through the House and Senate... you know, something like let's say an infrastructure bill injecting investment into the economy and plausibly providing millions, even tens of millions of jobs.
I mean, assuming you were to acknowledge the real world here and accept that it takes time to create policy and have bills drafted, for those to be discussed, and eventually to become law.... then one must assume you'd then possess a reasonable expectation rather than an absurd caricature probably best left to Fox News disinformation pundits.
