What does that say? I think it says that the material world is so "obvious" to us all, especially for an atheist, that it just seems so ludicrous (and therefore anyone who thinks so must be mad), that there's more.

It,´s not because the material world is so obvious to us, but because there is no evidence for anything except it.

In some ways I find your views pretty hilarious (ie the material is all there is - honestly it seems a bit naive, a bit like painting by numbers, do you know what I mean?)

Well, i don,´t really care much for what you "feel" about the natural world, if I feel that the moon is made of cheese, it doens,´t make it so. What I care for is evidence. So, can you present any evidence for anything outside the "material world" if not why on earth should anyone believe it for not good reason at all?

Here you are being defensive about how you are sorry that you are being somewhat trollish and its because you are in a funny mood... and when Prole says no need to apologize and makes no move to defend himself nor address the wildly off-base attempts at insults you say HE is being defensive? No wonder you are religious, you can't even comprehend the reality of a normal conversation, much less the way the world actually works.

I wish you lot would actually bother to find out the etymology of the word religion before making your assumptions. Or at least ask if a non atheist is religious or not. It's rather hypocritical to get so touchy when assumptions are made about atheists, when you make them yourself, often without even realising it.

No, you not just Not an atheist. You are a theist. You said so in your first paragraph. Explain what you are then: before you claim that people are making assumptions when you are just being misleading. There is a difference.

Religious is of or referring to a religion...
Religion is the belief in and worship of a god or gods.
A theist is someone who holds the belief that at least one deity exists.
So, I don't know whether you worship your God that you believe exists, but it sure would seem strange to believe in a God but then not to do much about it. But I guess you could do me a favor and explain yourself a little bit so you are not just spouting nonsense.
