I'm kinda lazy to write full reasons but some are
-The Travelling Circus which went on for way too long and took up so much time
-The Bowl of the winds subplot which again just dragged on for ages
-Matt-Tylin plot which is connected to the bowl, seanchan and Gholam but probably could have gone a...
I don't necessarily think that Sandersons writing is better
but it is almost a welcome change back to the older style of Jordans that he showed in the start of the series (Sandersons is different to Jordans in many ways but both seem equally good)
In my opinion Jordans best works were the first...
I generally enjoy the Harry Potter ones
Lord of the Rings was awesome
I prefer the Starship Troopers movie to the Original book
The BBC movies of Terry Pratchetts, Hogfather and also Color of Magic/Light Fantastic
Do comic adaptations count?
Thats interesting
I was shown a similar one except this one was not just a "Muslim Student"

He asks one of his new students to stand and begins talking...
I'm also one who does the whole "don't step on a crack" thing
Even sometimes I find myself walking funny to avoid cracks that I see and it can give me a wierd trajectory in my various travels
Putting aside the exact definition of Atheist
Idon't think it requires faith
and even if an Atheist were to say they were 100% sure god didn't exist it doesn't necessarily amount to an absolute truth statement which would require faith
there is the mob mentality
But deliberately breaking the laws and even their own unofficial ones (Like not selling to school kids which was later confirmed) for me is not something I support
:)
probably not
but then the laws are only loosely enforced (Hence why their protests are allowed with generally minimal fuss)
I'm not sure if they were or not

the violent clash happened during one of these and involved smokers...
As said David Webers Honorverse series is quite good
Also you could try the Vattas War series by Elizabeth Moon
David Feintuchs, Seafort Saga is one that i found good
It does have raging religious overtones (state mandated catholicism lol) but the main characters change on this is good...
I am against the legalisation of drugs at the moment
And I do say at the moment
Now I have never done drugs nor do i have any intention of ever doing so
but in recent years the university I have attended has has controversy with a pro-marujuana group (Who had violent clashes with police...
I'm from NZ as well (Dunners lol)
And I remember for me even though we were taught Maori religious beliefs as well they were always taught as nothing more then stories
Fascinating stories but never truth
As opposed to the teachings of Christianity which we were told is true
So for me the...
On a discussion about me being an atheist (Not exact wording as this was a verbal and not written conversation)
but it went something like....
and
as in the big bang was condensed gas that exploded
There is the second version of that argument that no morality can be explained without God
Perhaps appealing to innate moral principles or Objective morality
God is necessary for morality
so any atheist who acts morally is unknowingly following God
same as op
I feel many take this out of context
the dead part refers to the fact that they are now dead (And a referenced as such from our particular view of the story)
the only logical interpretation is that they were alive at the time but are dead now
Back to back
Looking over their...
I loved the movie
I was a bit reluctant to watch it at first (A fighting movie about a young autistic girl ) but it really got me into it the whole way
