Yeah, but this iteration seems to be taking a different stupid tack, so it might last a little longer before being abandoned. This version has decided to lie about WWII before moving forward to lie about 9/11... this should be "fun"?

Well, if 'a' (your imaginary friend, I presume?) was suggesting to you that the U.S. 'made a profit' from World War II, he/she is stretching the truth (at best).

Some American companies made a solid buck off of manufacturing and selling vehicles / weapons to allied armies, but all such materials were often discounted and sometimes outright donated to recipients. Again, you're casting aspersions and characterizing people as part of some sinister and shadowy cabal, when the reality is that they were lending their talents towards combating a legitimate threat overseas.

You honestly believe that someone had, say, Stalin's administration on the phone during the battle of Stalingrad, and only sent out what equipment & supplies to Murmansk that the soviets could write bank drafts for?

Please, take a moment to research the lend-lease program that the United States implemented for shipping war materials to allied forces. This should utterly dispel for you the myth that America reaped enormous profits from WWII (the UK didn't even pay the United States back all of the lend-lease money until 2006; and unless I'm mistaken, I'm pretty sure that the amount loaned to the Soviet Union remains outstanding - though, personally, I think that should be tempered against the death toll in the USSR).

Within your perverse framing of the world, once somebody steps into the arena of politics, they are magically shed of their humanity? They are somehow transformed overnight into some beastly monstrosity?
