It is actually not that impressive. He will argue himself into a corner and leave for months, than open a new thread and repeat all the same mistakes. In addition, nearly 1/3 of my posts to him are just me quoting things back at him. He does tend to ask questions that have already been answered.

I don't normally write a full intro for a new blog post, but this one's different.

This is about a project that I've been involved on the periphery of, and about how simple ideas can genuinely change the world. It's also about improving the quality of life in some of the most deprived regions in the developing world via a simple technological innovation and the drive to empower people in those regions to take control of their own destinies.

I ask that you share this as widely as possible, and get it in front of people with influence so that we can ensure that the project I'm talking about here can really fly.

Posted the link at Rat Skep. I was surprised to read that a turbine can be as small as I00mm. For I think of them as huge generators powering
factories and ocean liners. Not something really tiny. I was also surprised that no one came up the idea before. It seems so blindingly obvious
