Decided to do a little excavating for this one. The veterans here will remember a character by the name of IamtheVOICE123. I've had some idiotic arguments before, but this one probably takes the cake. It's one thing to simply be ignorant, but it's another thing to make an assertion, then contradict that assertion with copy/pasted text from a Wikipedia article (disguised as your own words,) then continue to defend the assertion even after your buffoonery has been pointed out to you several times.

Back when I was in the army (Greece has a compulsory conscription), I spent the whole Holy Saturday in a 24-hour shift with a supervisor who preached all the usual conspiracies about 9/11, the moon landing and so on, and a fellow soldier who believed the Earth was 6,000 years old - mind that creationists are extremely rare in Greece, as the vast majority of orthodox christians consider science and religion 100% compatible. Most surreal day of my life.

But the argument that has stuck the most in my memory was his insistence that objects cannot leave Earth because they get destroyed when leaving the Earth's atmosphere! If I remember correctly, that argument was based on a really twisted misunderstanding of Van Allen radiation belts.

I saw this video a couple of days ago.... esentially a collage of the most ridiculous conspiracy theories I've heard of... Anti-Vaccine, Reptillian Overlords, Water Fluoridation.... It was a nice introduction to Conspiracy Theorist mentality.

But while I was having a two against one comment war with the uploader and a friend of his, I read this comment by the uploader (and I am hoping beyong hope that it's sarcasm...)

"What do you do all day? Watch political videos for graphical errors with eyeballs?"

"no I spam, use graffiti..anything to wake people up. Try, it, get a permanent marker, ride around on a bike at night and write something like vaccines=$ "
