Human Conversation for Dummies
Apparently I need to do this as everyone here either didn't read the thread, can't comprehend it, or are too prideful to admit they were wrong. Here's the Cliff Notes on what happened. (Still waiting for honest justification on the decision to lock the thread.)
Hytegia offered to peer review a creationist paper if I provided one He made it abundantly clear that he would find a lab to do the tests in. I knew full well he wanted to use a lab!
As I was searching for a paper to give Hytegia, I kept coming up with papers that he either A. could not replicate, or B. would be too expensive to test. I gave an example of a paper I wanted to give him where Dr. Humphreys talked about the magnetic fields of Neptune and Uranus. And of course Hytegia could not replicate that paper or afford to do so.
When I remembered Walter Remine's paper, I realized he could save his money and didn't even need a lab. It was a creationist paper with repeatable testable claims. It had even been peer reviewed by big name degreed evolutionary scientists. (NOTE: This site only cares about someone's degrees when they want to.) I thought it would be perfect and it I was even being thoughtful of Hytegia. So I started a thread a gave Hytegia a paper to respond to.
Hytegia made it abundantly clear that he wanted something he could do a lab test on, which is completely fair. At that point I explained that I thought I was doing Hytegia a favor and that other papers I had would not have fit in his budget.
At that point Hytegia "called my bluff" and gave me one last chance to produce another article. He explained the lengths he had gone to reschedule his life to make this happen.
I immediately agreed to give Hytegia another paper and even gave myself a deadline of one day to produce it. I told him I still wanted to talk about Remine with everyone else, and that I would start another thread with the new paper.
Hytegia didn't like the fact that I was continuing to discuss Remine with everyone and he said:
So far so good if you ask me...
The next thing I know, the thread is locked for no justifiable reason whatsoever. Now everyone has a chance to prove they can be objective, and truthful and admit that it shouldn't have been locked. If something that small can't be done, why would I think anyone here could be honest about more serious issues?

Of course he can't just make up rules like this, but I obliged. The very next post (which met the deadline I gave myself) was a paper that he could test.Hytegia said:If your next post isn't a paper that can be verified through testing that supports a single claim of a Young Earth Creation, I would request that the thread gets locked on account of intellectual dishonesty and failure to contribute of the agreement, with a note that YYNJ failed to produce a single document that provided evidence.
