I'm gonna go out on a limb here and assume he meant to say "flagged video".

Sometimes I type "LOL" on my keypad when I don't even mean it, but this one really IS sincere: LOL!

And I say this is a non-heterosexual myself -- to clarify ... :) And yes, he probably meant "flagged", but still... oh my GOD; that was hilarious! -- just my take on it, of course. I don't speak for anyone else. :)

Well, I suppose it could have been a Freudian slip.

Wait... a non-heterosexual with aspergers?

Dangit"¦ for a moment I thought there'd be a great pun hidden in there somewhere. Nevermind, you're not nearly as funny as I thought.

Thunderfoot should make more "why do people laugh with creationists" videos, they were witty and had a point. His recent videos might be less interesting but he sometimes has a good point.

I agree with what seems to be the consensus on the thread. Tf00t puts off people who may be receptive to the points hes trying to make by being a tads over the top.
That said i see nothing wrong with criticizing any religion by pointing out valid flaws. If people are going to raise the subject of religion or any idea or scientific theory into the public arena then we have the right to question it and they no right to be offended by this. However actively ridiculing them only serves the purpose of makeing you look like a bit of a dick.

holy crap,
ive just watched some of the april 15th MSS.
dprjones, TF, Aron...if thats all it takes to make you fall apart then you really need to ask yourselves if you are doing more harm than good.
You had 2 complete numpties on that show with the most childish incoherent argument ive ever heard...and yet it was you guys that looked like the morons.
you had aron foaming at the mouth and set into a rage...thunderfoot doing is usual absurd tangent thought experiments, dpr just doing as dpr does...urmmm....
it was painfull.
thank the lord for concordance. if not for him i would have converted after watching that utter shambles

rant over

That Sye individual can be quite annoying, his main point in that discussion was always oh in the atheist worldview you can't know that for certain blah blah blah and whenever asked how HE (Sye) knows, he would always repeat the exact same phrase "because God revealed it to us such that I can be certain of it".

It's very puerile argument, ALL knowledge, beliefs, opinions etc. can be step-by-step traced back to some axioms that ultimately cannot be proven and must be taken for granted. This is something you have to deal with regardless if God exists or not and regardless if you believe in him or not. So to say "because God revealed it to us such that I can be certain of it" it's really just begging the question, how do you even know that God revealed it to you, and not Satan, an alien or even a man? Even if he appeared right before you, you'd still have to make the first assumption that you can trust your 5 senses and your reason before you can even begin to talk about concepts such as God or books (i.e. the Bible).

Sye doesn't really have a higher degree of certainty, he's simply deluding himself.

And as for the argument that "science doesn't work without assuming God" that's even more stupid. The only thing you need to assume to do science is that the Universe functions in a predictable way (or as Thunderf00t would put it "that you can learn something from it and that models of predictive utility are better than the ones without"). God is a redundant idea, I don't have a problem with assuming that order simply exists and nobody caused it.

the nature of reality is a legitimate philosophical debate....
but not when one side argues its the way it is cos they say so and they know its true so there, then stick fingers in ears with a "ner na ner na".
if faced with that you dont go into an involved argument on the nature of reality, you just call them out on the very premise they make as being absurd, and you do not humor them by allowing them to take it further.
The only way that show should have gone was to point out the absurdity of it...takes 2 minutes tops, then ask eric if he intends to use that as a road block to any questions regarding his beliefs that are contary to science...if he is, then you drop them from the show.
instead, they have got hours of video they can edit to show those crazed atheists being irrational and appealing to the supernatural...bravo MSS
