Sometimes: Thunderf00t *can* have a point ... ish

arg-fallbackName="Anachronous Rex"/>
Yeah, "even a broken clock" and all that.

Though truthfully, I don't find tf00t as douchebagy as others seem to. I tend to avoid his videos these days because they contain a lot of drama, and because I often think he could be making his point better/more precisely if he just tweaked his presentation a little bit (and that's frustrating), but I don't think he's generally wrong.

It's a bit like trying to watch someone with aspergers argue; they tend to be right, but they also tend to irritate the hell out of all involved.

Get out.
Bluejay has told me in chat that he is not referring to the latest YouTube tirade, which he -- like I -- has no interest in.

He watches ThunderF00t's science videos, and that's who we know him by, really. I loved his Why Do People Laugh At Creationists series ...

I've never watch anyone with aspergers argue but I find myself agreeing on your other points. Thunderf00t does have good points often but the presentation is such that people tend to miss the points and get offended by the presentation.

I just mostly hope he'd continue the WDPLAC series.

P.S. Should we start "don't ban bluejatheist" campaign? :)

That seems a little excessive, though I can't tell if you're joking or not. One of the downsides of Aspergers.

But as far as I am aware , correct me if I am wrong, Prole , people here only get banned for acting atrociously, not for their opinions, or even for their opinions' intellectual merit. Because if that were the case we wouldn't have 5 active creationists on the forum. So no worries there, I .. think. :)

Yes, Australopithecus is kidding. It's usually best to note that members may (and probably will) be sardonic on a whim.

I did mention that you folk tend to be right :p
Well not necessarily. :) It just means that I have a tendency to pay more attention to facts than to feelings, as I am not as in touch with my "feelings" as you neurotypicals. :) And I'm goddamned proud of it! :D

Fair enough. :) I guessed so, kinda.

I just recently found Thunderf00t's science vids, I loved them, but then the drama started and it saddens me that even a good lecturer can fall to such a degrading aspect of humanity.

Wait, does tf00t have aspergers? Regardless, I can honestly understand if he has some serious faults in dealing with criticism and such, and in which case will say nothing whatsoever on the topic of his character before I ever attack him over it. This shouldn't blemish the areas where he's shined, however.

And well, I probably have earned several bans for my general misanthropic trollish conduct on here, which I don't deny is far from tactful... At least give me warning so I can prepare a blindfold and cigarette. >>

You win thread.

As for Tfoot, I've lost all interest in the guy. I too liked the science vids...then he started all the other shenanigans.

I though smileys like that were the universal marker for "don't take this too seriously". I was, of course, joking as a tongue-in-cheek responce to Australopithecus' post.

I think that's from stripes book of trolling :)

I do much prefer Tfoot in the olden days, the WDPLAC series and although I think he has a point with his more recent ones, he just isn't the right chap to do it. He just seems to go a bit OTT with it all and it makes his point boring. He needs to be funny I think, funny is always the way.

zarkoff45 sums it up nicely in this video:

Was Thunderf00t Right?

There are two things T.Foot hide from you.

1. Youtube always had a "Anti-religion" flag option!
2. Is there a way to make appeal for a fag video!
