Then curches must be forums where all the admins are trolls and you cannot make new posts (you just read older ones by people who dont even visit there anymore).

Nice vids. But as always, I think the best method is to keep walking and make no eye contact. If I get one of those nifty little cards, I say thanks and throw it away (littering on their feet is best).

The problem with the perspective of simply letting it happen is, these people are harassing our children, our society and our peace of mind. I don't think it's okay that people stand out in public and shout at children "YOU'RE GOING TO HELL" to scare them into belief. They're a vulnerable demography and have been exploited ENOUGH by these organizations.

Enough is Enough.

The problem is that, IRL, you can't ban people for trolling. Lol.
There's only twoways to truly kill a troll - ignore it, or laugh.

Depends on how you define troll. To me, a troll is someone who boasts a controversial opinion to get an emotional reaction from people without actually believing what they say. The preachers (probably) believe what they're saying, so I wouldn't say they're trolls. They're basically just assholes.

Dude, did you just troll a post exposing preachers as trolls?

I'm just going to post this, so that you understand precisely why I'm just going to report these threads you make instead of respond to them from here on.

Generally being excessively crude, irritating or attempting to troll for lulz may get you banned at the discretion of the moderators. Respect their decisions, they are only enforcing the rules. You can appeal a ban, but we will be checking logs to assess your offense, so don't try to lie about it.

I'm not certain that they can be considered trolls, unless they go out in public to abuse or incite the populace. If they stay in their own buildings or cater only to their own sheeple, they simply aren't.

My general philosophy is if they leave me alone, I'll leave them alone. Every once in a while though I might get a door knocker or a street preacher confront me and that's when things get interesting. I've had a street preacher try to make bullshit claims like "our nation is built on the 10 commandments" only to go absolutely silent when I reply with "If that's so, why isn't it a crime to worship other deities but the Christian one, to commit idolatry, to covet, to commit adultery, to not follow the sabbath, to not honor one's parents, to blaspheme and to lie?"

The only time I'll engage them if they aren't trying to engage me is when I see them targeting children. That's a no-no.

Indeed, 1st amendment is a double edged blade.

And when it comes down to it, the people who are actually affected by this are either weak willed or unable to cope with the fact that other people believe different things. I would just tell my kids "that man's crazy", or "that man has a lot of guilt on his concience". I still think the best option is to ignore it, because if you need to stand in the middle of a public place, shouting your message at the top of your lungs and make personal, demeaning statements to the audience, you isolate yourself. Kids will believe what the parents believe until they're old enough to make their own decisions, and everyone else already has their minds mad up. The believers will stand and not (perhaps join in, depending on how far south in the US you are) and the nonbelievers will only get angry. They are antagonistic and no response is the best response.

I like the idea of telling kids "They are crazy"...and I'd encourage anyone to do just that infront of the crazy person.

I don't think it's right for people to scare children either...

At the same time, I don't think it's right that my proprty taxes support teaching homosexuality (or any sexuality) is ok to 2nd graders either...

I don't think it's right to teach that homosexuals and witches are supposed to be stoned to any children of any age for any reason -

What else do you want me to put? A citation?

Nobody here is stoning witches or homosexuals...take that argument up with your muslim majority...who I am sure pay little in the way of property tax, as so many are on the dole.

bold addition mine:

fixed it for you.

2nd graders hmm? What do they tell them: Two princes might fall in love instead of a prince and a princess? And if so, what exactly are you afraid of?

And more on-topic:

you think that in any way compares to an instilling of a deep fear in children that can last well into adulthood?

I have evidence that you, yourself, are an avid homosexual and of Islam. Also, a Nazi.
What? It's common knowledge.
