Whuddif I don't wanna report in? Who's going to stop me from fucking off?

No one, yeah, figured as much.

I play the plucked-string instruments (Harpsichord not included... Yet).

Bill myself as a Classical guitarist. Though Flamenco makes a large appearance in my catalog.

Yes, I also play that thing known as the 'electric guitar.' As well as the bass guitar.

Too many instruments on my to-do list yet learned.

I play the piano. Sometimes I even play the 'right 'chords and sometimes these chords hap-hazardly form into 'music'. These moments are always very blissful for me.

That being said, my spoon skills are the stuff of legend. Luckily I am a legend in my own mind, in this regard. I don't know where I'm going with this. :p

I'm mostly a vocalist (yes, the voice is an instrument) and I play a little violin, piano, and guitar a bit on the side. I too have long hair, and think that it is what really suits me. It's part of my identity. You're entitled to your opinion, but long hair shouldn't be tabooed on a man any less than a shaved head should be for a woman.

Drummer here, with a side of bass guitar. I also played trombone in school.

I played a little tenor sax for music class, but I play a lot of guitar. Mathcore, progressive metal, metalcore and the odd acoustic song.

Since some other people are doing it, favorite bands....

Between the Buried and Me, Sikth, Protest the Hero, The Human Abstract, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Opeth, Dream Theater, Rage Against the machine, and a bunch of others I'm too tired to list.

I am a singer by profession, although my work is in music production these days. I also play guitar, bass, drums and keyboards. I flutter a little on sax and trumpet.

Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar - Both well beyond grade 8 now
Piano - Self Taught and probably not beyond around grade 5, being that the first 5 grades are 99% theory...
Alto Saxophone - Took lessons until completed grade 6

As for people who mentioned Turisas, I've been to see them twice in London. Both great shows. One of the best performers I've ever been able to see. I caught Jussi Wickstrà¶ms pick at one of the shows and it now adorns my entire guitar setup, sitting in its own box on top of my amp.

My tastes are not limited to metal though, I really like Instrumental, atmospheric music (often called post-rock) as well as classical and jazz. Not too big on blues, just jazz. I despise 99% of all pop music, though 1% is actually quite good and all other genres of music such as experimental, minimalist, gamelan, serialist etc, I like in small doses.

I've passed grade 8 theory and write loads of music, usually progressive stuff, but some other things too.

So basically I just love music.... :)

sorry by grade i meant skill level (or equivilent, in the uk our " grades" are school years (i am in my last at year 13) and for musical instruments, skill is measured in "grades" from grade 1-8 and upwards)

Ah, I see. Well, I took three years of t-bone, so I guess that makes me a grade 3?
