If Jason hadn't said that AronRa wasn't worth his time, I wouldn't have pointed out he doesn't have anything better to do.

He brought it up as a jab at AronRa. Notice I didn't call him fat or make any remark as to how I view him. I called his attention to something constructive he could be doing, which would have the added benefit of helping him with his weight. Because that's what this really is: a call for him to stop and do something better with his time.

But I must ask why is it that others must walk on eggshells when talking to Jason (not with, as there is ZERO actual discussion happening in these threads) , but Jason can troll and spam to his heart's content?

You speculated on his employment based on the "exorbitant amount of videos" he makes, as if it serves a purpose other than to sneer. Is that directed at the content of his videos or posts? His views?

This isn't YouTube. We don't moderate discussions there. Jason101 is a member here, and the rules regarding conduct between members applies.

I do appreciate the extra context, but given the surrounding paragraph,
Jason, you are not worth the electrons that perished to make this post appear on the internet. Grow up, humble yourself, and get off the internet. You’re doing rational Christians a disservice. If you really feel this strongly, go do missionary/charity work in a country that needs it. I also have a feeling it will do more for your waist line than just skimping on sugar in your tea.

No one is asking you or anyone else to walk on eggshells, you are free to ridicule, mock, deconstruct or otherwise entertain yourself with his views, his posts, and his videos. This has always been the case. Personal attacks are against the rules.

Calling him a troll is an abuse of the term, (like calling musicians geniuses after releasing two good albums in a row). As far as I know, he joined by invitation, not to take the piss.

If you wish to discuss our moderation further (we're only human, after all), please start a new thread in Issues and Suggestions or contact one of us via PM.

I am a bit thick but wasn't this thread set up so that AronRa and Jason could have an exclusive dialogue? You closed the first thread down because it was becoming full of shit and now this one is becoming full of shit. What am I missing? Are you going to set up up a third thread for Aron and Jason to have a dialogue if they wish?

This thread is for discussion of his paper, the locked thread was for Aron and Jason to supposedly work out the terms of the debate. If they had we would have hosted the debate, one on one. As that's not happening, this thread is for general discussion of the paper for all to take part in.

Well you clearly don't know Jason very well. He will change his mind several times between now and whenever. My guess is that you will need a separate thread for Jason and AronRa to have an exclusive dialogue. Afterall, this is his '15 minutes of fame'.
