How can it be "used for war"? Can it be turned into ammunition or vehicles? Does it have a particularly sharp cutting edge? Has it read "The Art of War", and graduated with honours from Sandhurst Military Academy?lrkun said:No, it's a religion of unpeace because it can be used for war

I checked it the first time, the translation of the word itself does not carry an implicit connotation of war. The word "jihad" is however found in other phrases that do pertain to war, but it's also found in others that pertain to peaceful activity.........as is explained in the Wiki article.lrkun said:Yes. Check your link.
Blood. Stone. Just some advice.Welshidiot said:So would please you explain to me in greater detail, and without using non sequitur answers, what you meant by "it [Islam] can be used for war".........?

If so can you verify that the translation we were given was accurate?
Bullshit! Complete and utter bullshit!Hedley said:Even moderate ones, want to kill anyone who contradicts the mumbo-jumbo!
Really? So where does he come from then?lrkun said:One of my friends, proud muslim, has a picture of himself while holding a man's decapitated head, when he was 12-15 years old. Kind of a right of passage where they came from.
Bullshit! Religion does not make people cut other people's heads off! And the rest of your post proves that, because as you said your friend still has his faith.lrkun said:Religion does that to you.

nasher168 said:I could do that. It's an astonishing claim that a 12-15 year old could actually behead someone at all. That it would be a rite of passage is, I must admit, very hard to believe.
Such an act would imply incredible barbarism that simply doesn't really exist today to my knowledge. So the location is important, as one would expect the UN Human Rights Watchdog to be all over this if there was a group or tribe in which males routinely killed and beheaded people. It definitely would not happen in Eurasia, the Americas, Japan, Australia, China, India, the Middle East etc so for the claim to be believable, the context of location (deep Papua New Guinea? Indian Ocean Islands? The Pacific Islands?-all stereotypically barbarous places.) is something that must be known.
