If the former, he's just sheltered - if the latter, like Tsar, he's a troll, and can be called on it/banned.

And anyone visiting the site and seeing the "debate" will know why he got banned.

Every claim you make is just an assumption or acceptance of what other people have told you; there are no older religions than christianity, that is WHY christianity (which is technically not a religion, but a personal relationship with Jesus Christ) is true.

I'm bombarded by personal insults even by the very title of the topic, and retaliation is simply out of the question?

Someone needs to remind Jwillz how the title occurred and the fact that he agreed to it.

I don't care what religion Hytegia is, they're all atheists to me.

So, anyone who doesn't believe in Jesus is an "atheist"!? Are there any other criteria of which we're unaware? Like, what exactly does he mean by "Christian"? [WASP? Catholic? Orthodox?]

I can't believe even after humbling myself all the way down to the level of the atheists in hopes to reach them this is what I get.
No wonder none of you could dare to have a live debate with another person, your life is probably based around the disrespect of other people. You're all cowards, go ahead, try to silence me on your forum. All you have proven here is that you're all scared to have a real debate one on one with another person.

Since he hasn't posted anything to support his claim but pointing the finger at forum members, this indicates that he's unable to debate with others.

One wonders how many debates he's actually had - never-mind "won".

I'm wondering why he's using the word "they" here. Seems a weird kind of distancing, and like the kind of thing you tell yourself if you're a soldier in a war, needing to dehumanize the enemy soldiers that you have killed and/or are about to kill.

And then a huge martyrdom syndrome to boot! He debased himself ALL the way to this level to reach them? (Them, why them? Why the third person plural again?)

Finishing off nicely with an immensely childish dare. I mean, really?

One has to wonder about his desperate insistance on a live debate, and I've got a couple of educated guesses about it:
First of all, he seems to come from the school of thought that debates are actually won/lost - AND that this victory/loss has any bearing on the veracity of the debated topic. (In case you're actually reading this Jwillz: debates are about educating others, not about feeding your own ego.)

Second, he must think that facts are a bad thing, since he has a problem with people having the time to check up on them. He's probably got a few silly bullet points about his religion rememebered, and realizing that science is a very complex subject, knows that the opposition will have a hard time remembering everything.

Third, he seems a rather emotional creature, and he probably "thinks" with his emotions in a debate. This would be cause for some lively debates, I'm sure, and he probably measures his victories by emotions.

There are probably more things I could think up, but I have to get to work now.

His comment, while needless, is the sort of thing expected of someone with his attitude.

[My concern about your own comments elsewhere were as much to do with being a moderator as it was the dismissal of a person as "useless".]

The real issue - just within the Abrahamic religions - is that, Christianity only occurs in the New Testament.

The question then is; "What were the gods/religions of all those people in the Old Testament whom the Israelites fought against/defeated (Midianites, etc) or were defeated by (Babylonians)?"

I really does, however, irk my pissy-bone (or whatever you'd call it) when someone dehumanizes a whole group like that. It really is the beginning of a slippery slope towards, well, extermination when taken to its extreme.

It's not just that I find it unfunny, I find it downright scary and troublesome. People who say that kind of stuff have to be summarily shunnd by civilized society, like KKK members, Neo-Nazis, Muslim extremists, Theocrats, etc.

I know I'm overreacting, but this kind of thing is something I want to stomp down on real hard, even if the guy is just trolling when he says it.

Inferno, I assume by "Hytegia lost (time)", you mean that he wasted his time.

I think that Australopithecus should post in the debate giving Jwillz a deadline for his next post. If he doesn't do so - or respond to Australopithecus - then he can be officially declared to have lost the debate by default, if not a walkover. And a final post by Australopithecus can officially declare that before the debate is locked.

Otherwise there's little point in us declaring a win.
