Hello. A few of you guys on League of Reason seem to think that I like to ignore posts to waste people's time.

Well I'm here today because I got a new webcam and I'd be happy to debate anyone here via stickam or blogtv. So yeah, if you wanna debate, either post here or go on my YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/truthfulchristian)

I'd like to discuss about Christianity, Morality, Dinosaurs, Science (mainly biology). I don't want this to be a heated debate where people get angry and cuss at each other. I'm looking forward to more of a calm discussion or a light debate.

You do realize your threads have incited 227 posts on these forums and you haven't addressed a single one of them yet. If you ask me, you should take a little time to answer some of the debates you've already started before starting any more.

I can't speak for everyone here, but I'm getting really sick of you using these boards as your own personal advertising bulletin board.

Sounds tempting but you want to cover an awful lot of ground. Would you be willing to discuss one or two of the topics only? I have an old microphone and webcam, but they're probably not the best for a live debate. Perhaps someone else will have a better set-up than me.

To suggest an alternative, I can create a debate thread here and limit it to two posters. That might be one way to prevent you from becoming buried in the mountain of replies to each of your posts :lol:

You have a pretty loose definition of a troll. My complaints about you are legit. But if you're going to stop advertising your YT channel and engage in debate, I will gladly put on a spectator hat and watch from the sidelines. This is going to be awesome!

But the "troll", Justbusiness17, has a point; you have started many threads that you've since failed to respond to.

Pointing out the truth doesn't make him a troll. Sure, you may have good reasons for not wanting to respond to those threads; for example that all the responses were overwhelming and too numerous, but I think explaining that to all the people who took time to respond to you might be in order, no?

well, we got specified sections on this forum for those topic.

christianity and morality fall under "Religion and irreligion"
dinosaurs and science fall under "science and information"

but as already pointed out, it requires your presence.
you do not have address all posts, that would be insane. but it would be prefered if you address most points especially those adressed directly at you.
though not required, it can be useful to mention the source of your information.
people can make mistakes by interperating information incorrect or using outdated information or bad sources.
when this happens discussions can become quite frustrating for no reason, and it happens that people are arguing with different definitions for the same thing, which make it very difficult to even agree on the most simple things.

one other thing, the most important thing to do is make a clear statement about what you want to debate.
"I'd like to discuss about Christianity, Morality, Dinosaurs, Science (mainly biology)." is extremely vague, you can find dozens of different topics about christianity just here which range from one side to another.

in short;
if you want to debate, you must participate!

In order to have any chance at all in a debate, they need to grab as many of these wet noodles as they can and wildly thrash their opponents. Obfuscation and victory by forfeit are the goals. that may be true, but if we are going to dismiss him as a troll while he is truthful about having a debate, then we are no better then a bunch of hypocrits.
we should give him the chance to proof he really is willing to debate, even with so many people stacked against his position (like waza-manoo).
if he has a valid argument we shouldn't silence him.

then again, if he IS here just to troll or go into a post and run game... then he deserves all the name-calling he gets.

On what subject, precisely? Your youtube channel vids and posts here display a profound lack of understanding of science in general, and evolution in particular. Any "debate", would consist pretty much entirely of you misrepresenting science and me correcting you, only for you to deny or simply ignore any legitimate point raised. I'll take you up on the offer when you have responded appropriately to my critique of your videos in the appropriate thread around here and have satisfied me that you have actually read and understood anything posted. Otherwise I won't waste my time.

Which aspects in particular? Should I happen to conclude that you have indeed learned anything about evolution from my posts, and thus are a potential opponent for a discussion/debate, I would like to discuss Leviticus with you since it should cover a good portion of my current thinking on Christianity and morality.

Like I said before, there's a difference between letting someone have their say no matter how stupid it is and the difference between someone just spamming/advertising/trolling.

Agreed... If he had something unobtrusive written in his signature and was simply a forum participant, it would be one thing, but this guy keeps starting threads just with the explicit intent of driving traffic towards his youtube channel.

Take a look at his channel stats:

I'm really curious as to how this guy's channel views are so close to his total upload views. This is so highly skewed from the norm on youtube that he must be engaged in some rather extensive self promotions on the internet. Why tolerate it here?
