Educational? Have you seriously been to 4chan, ever?
Yes, I have. I have found some, and remember how I stressed some? Some educational things on it.
enterman said:
Never trust anything you hear or see on that site lol.
Most being noneducational does not mean nothing is educational.
enterman said:
Anything that can deem this up is obviously not a trustworthy source for anything lol.
Remember when I said this?

I think the website provides a good outlet and medium for humor...

4chan takes the innocence away from anyone that had any left. Any child that goes to 4chan leaves a perverted or schizophrenic man, sometimes both.
I think the second sentence is a gross exaggeration of a hyperbole. Taking both of the sentences together, I would like to direct you to what I said about the matter:

... however, there is no reliable authoritative figure (parent, guardian, peer) to put some graphic and influential parts into context for impressionable and confused young people. So, both.

I just have you ask you irmerk, how would explain to your child (and no I do not care if you have one) the image of a man with his anus straight up in the air with a nice stead flow of liquid crap coming out of it almost like a fountain while a few other men watched?
Oh, you ignored what I said then answered it yourself in a question... Well, I surely would not like my child to find this on his or her own and be left to him or herself to interpret. Had my child looked at this particular picture, I would explain it to my understanding - probably similar to your understanding or any other adult who would look at it. It is an exemplification mocking the disgust most people have with other people's sadistic pleasures twisted from the cultural norm. I doubt it would be harmful, if put into context. More on the frequency of this kind of a picture below.

Because THAT is the kind of stuff you will see at 4chan my friend. Most of that comes out of /b/ anyways but none the less.
I think those kinds of pictures are harmless for younger people if put into context. I managed to not be turned into a perverted and or schizophrenic man after looking at the pictures while younger. I think it would have been even less likely had my older brother, or someone of that stature, explained them to me had I been confused. I think that these are not as frequent on /b/, much less the rest of 4chan, than you imply.

I really do not think you took the time to read my post for it's entirety and tried to understand it; I think you saw educational and both and made a decision. Though, hey, it is just my speculation.

Seriously lol, stuff like that has been seen before. It is a hilarious site but sometimes it makes you want to claw your eye's out and eventually that image will come that makes you do it.

i refer to this funny picture:

Wow most of the post wasn't meant to be taken literally but my hat's off to you for doing so. When was the first time you were actually on /b/ though? Images like that were seen daily in days past. Go look at the /b/ sections on the other chan sites. Hah my favorite pic FLISK.

Actually, not that long ago. However, I have been to many very similar websites before it since when I was eleven or twelve - nigh a decade.

Yes, they are on there, but I was saying that you paint a picture of them being everywhere. Again, a child will probably end up seeing them, so why not facilitate it and allow them to understand?

I'm not saying to hide it from them but in the image I described for instance, how would you explain that to a child lol? I'm not saying it isn't possible I'd just like to know.

I would have thought you read my response...

And that is what you would say to a 9 year old? I don't know any kid that would just accept that and run off.

Yes... I thought that was evident in the response to the question. I guess not knowing one... Well... Means nothing.

Well for good or evil 4chan and /b/ are not likely to be going anywhere soon and they do seem to have a very large influence on cyber-culture. many of the images and phrases we use on the internet have begun on 4chan's /b/ . I wouldn't classify it is good or evil because Anonymous as a whole is neither.
