They give doctorates to people like this??!!
They aren't real degrees. They are "degrees" in things like "holistic medicine" or "naturopathic medicine"... which are just other names for "shit that ain't fucking real, for people who can't handle real classes."

Oh, so that's the degree that my old friend, "Dr." Hovind has.
Unfortunately, not quite. "Dr." Hovind got his degree from a diploma mill. The fake medical degrees sometimes come from real schools, where they teach something that I gather is nursing plus made-up stuff, and call it "medicine."

Heck, what utter nonsense again.
Isn't the CS-stupidity-thread enough to spread the stuff?

BTW, has Swine-flu vaccination already started in the States?
I'm waiting for the huge death toll we're about to expect.
It's such a brilliant idea to kill off the medical personel first and then the kids and adolescents, in short, the future of one's country.
I mean, brilliant. You might get the total power, but who'd want the total power about a country that's just lost every bit of power, be it economically, military or scientifically it ever had

Could be a new superhero. Dr. Silver!
Or a super villain. I might make that happen. I've got a superhero related idea I've been working on for years.

I had suggested to bring this to the CS thread because it's hijacking this one >.>
In regards to my approach here I came to this forum of 'reason' with a simple test and hypothesis that's based on the plethora of CS information out there in hopes someone would reasonably test it him/herself on whatever they wish in order to verify what I've seen myself.
Colloidal silver causes argyria the same way guns kill people; It's the stupidity of the *user* when they take it in great excess or make it with impurities.

I stand by my statement: Test it yourself, if you wish, with the chance to prove everyone who claims anything about CS wrong.

You see, it is all part of the conspiracy. The medical folks get the homeopathic water, and only after they gain the trust of the people do they dispense the vaccines. Poisoning little children and old people is the most fun they can imagine, and never once has any of the millions of people involved in the conspiracy ever let word get out. A politician gets a blowjob, the giver of the blowjob tells ONE PERSON, and the whole world knows about it. Tens of millions of people involved in a decades-long conspiracy to poison the world, and no one has ever come out of the conspiracy to tell the world the truth.

Yeah, that makes perfect sense.

Yes, and guns were designed to kill. Stupidity has nothing to do with it. You need a new analogy, because this one is pure fail.

Guess they are the same people who are behind the "evolution conspiracy".
To quote Pratchett (who writes the best satire I know, commonly mistaken as fantasy): "How come that the goverment always hushes things up but your mate (forgot the name) always gets to hear about it in a pub?)"

I'm pro-vaccine, and I too am greatly annoyed by anti-vaccine people, as others have already said many times over in this thread.

The one thing I don't like about some vaccines is how they're rushed out and touted as being safe before there's a chance to examine long-term side effects - the Gardasil vaccine (to prevent 4 types of cervical cancer) is a good example of this. I for one had to get it, and I wouldn't be surprised if, in 5 or 10 years down the line, research found that there were some long-term or permanent side effects. Depo Provera, while not a vaccine per say, is another example of this too.

I'm a little torn on getting the H1N1 vaccine, but if push came to shove, I'd probably end up getting it. The potential side effects make me a little nervous about giving it to a kid, even though yes I know it's the right thing to do.

Well, the debate about the swine-flu vaccine is running high here at the moment, due to the fact that there are two vaccines and while the average citizen is going to get one type, higher state employees, ministry officials and the army are going to get another one.
Story can be read here: http://www.dw-world.de/dw/article/0,,4803801,00.html?maca=en-tagesschau_englisch-335-rdf-mp
It makes people very insecure whether the vaccine they are getting is either not as effective or, on the other side, more risky.
But if there are no great differences, as officials claim, why then order the other one for "important" people.
It only gives new fodder to the conspiracy-theorists and anti-vaxxers and will turn people from getting vaccinated.

Yeah, because they never tested... oh, wait... THEY DID.

Germany sounds like their stuff is under control, which is good, because you guys make really good chocolate. But with that 2 shot deal, this happens all the time. Officials get the best care, the newest versions of drugs, ect. No conspiracy, just greedy selfish people. Same as always in politics. ;)

As for the gardasil shot, they had already tested it in clinical trials previous to releasing it to the public. If I am not mistaken, the trials were several years in length, so you are good. Nothin' to worry over. You are right, though, that if it wasn't adequately tested, THEN it would be cause for concern. BTW, niocan seems to have left, and I don't know if paridigm is coming back. I guess... Reason... WON!!!

We make good choclate?
When, where, who?
That's Switzerland and Belgium, but we're very good at eating it.
Well, the sad thing is: reason hasn'T really won. Those guys never saw it, they just went on to spread their stuff in another place

Perhaps they'll be back soon. I plan to put them on the friend list, so I can see when they are online. Perhaps, when someone posts things like this or my ( ) moronic creationist/God argument, we shouldn't post until we wring out of them a promise: Change if we can prove you wrong. Don't cling pointlessly to your incorrectness. Does that seem fair? :?:
...
BTW, are you serious? I heard German chocolate was the best, and a certain dark choc. in the States has a (German?) name, ghiradelli, or something like that. I know swiss is good, but I thought you guys had it going on. Hmmm...

No, reason caused insanity to wait a week, change his screen name, and start the stupidity all over again.
