'MURICA WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

Sigh. Going to be a fun ride.

I have to wonder if Donald is going to wake up tomorrow and feel like the dog that caught the car.

I sure as hell hope the ride will be fun... and not apocalyptic.

I've never been more ashamed to be an American than this moment. We are going to elect a reality TV star with a Theocrat for a vice president. I'm making my bug out plans when he runs any one of his policies...

It's a bit like driving along, seeing a possible car crash about to happen in front of you in slow motion. You're horrified, but you are deeply compelled to keep watching, wondering if they will actually crash. And now as they crash, you start to wonder if you will crash as well as a result of this crash.

I know, the analogy is horrible, bloated and contrived, but so is the situation.

I'm extremely curious and fearful at the same time about what the future will bring.

From what I've seen a reality TV star and a theocrat are pretty much as American as one can get.

The former US ambassador to Finland put it nicely in his facebook page:

Though I agree with Gnug; I have a nice spot here in Finland, right next to Trumps best buddy Putin, to see the carwreck and to hope that it doesn't come our way. Some might not be as lucky. I honestly believe that if Trump gives as much slack to Russia as he has said he would that either Ukraine or Georgia will be loosing area (in Ukraines case, more area) to Russia in the next 4 years.

Greetings,

 He epitomises the stereotypical ignorant American, who doesn't know much, and doesn't care who he insults.

What happens now to his business, and particularly his and his children's involvement in it??

I see Canada's immigration site crashed - some Canadian wit tweeted that the Canadians had taken it down "to keep the crazies out!".

I suppose the next step would be to pull the plug on America's internet connection to the world... :|

Kindest regards,

James

I believe Trump has several court cases coming up, so that'll be fun.

As far as my feelings on the election go, Hillary got it right when she said that America was choosing who it wants to be. Turns out it's a capricious, vindictive, self-absorbed, ignorant, racist, xenophobic, misogynist septuagenarian.

So Hillary's going to jail, Mexico gets a trade war, 20-odd million get deported, China gets a laugh, and Russia gets whatever the fuck it wants.

Time for a new political party, methinks.

I guess this is the change Americans voted for when they elected Obama.

We shouldn't be too surprised. Democratic party of the US lost touch with reality. When they had the opportunity to have Sanders as their candidate they chose some idiot who can't stop lying about her emails.

The people have chosen. lol

We elected a man that is an anti-vaxxer, does not accept evolution or climate change, was endorsed by the KKK, a blatant bigot/misogamist, wants to change liable/sander laws making free speech a thing of the past, thinks having an abortion is a punishable crime, bad mouth veterans, and who's only policy was to dog whistle about building a wall on the south boarder. Looks like the Party of Stupid is doing just fine.

Fuck this country. Fuck the people that live here. Fuck Trump. Fuck!

I hope a democrat comes by and explains to me how Clinton is so electable again.

Congratulations?

I heard his vice-president will be even worse.

I wish it was only the US. Europe is at it too. Brexit, Turkey, Hungary, Poland, France...

Well, maybe next time she'll win?

I'm not what you would call a democrat because I'm Canadian but I'll try to explain why I viewed Clinton as electable from North of the border:

Because the alternative was a man that is an anti-vaxxer, does not accept evolution or climate change, was endorsed by the KKK, a blatant bigot/misogamist, wants to change liable/sander laws making free speech a thing of the past, thinks having an abortion is a punishable crime, bad mouth veterans, and who's only policy was to dog whistle about building a wall on the south boarder.

I'll add: "So thin-skinned he needs to tweet insults at 3 in the morning, a theory conspiracist, someone who insults gold star familes, incited his fans to attack the press and who does not care for or wish of having a peaceful democracy".

Seriously U.S. of A., what were you thinking?

...and also, what's Alex Jones gonna scream about now?

Edit: I just looked, and apparently the globalists will retort with an economic collapse. The varmints.

Greetings,

I had checkid online to see what Bill Maher made of it - the latest video I could find was from 4 Nov, where he actually sounded (rightly!) worried:

Kindest regards,

Less than half (still too many) and less than voted for Hillary.

I are sad. May the world forgive us.

You are dealing with people in the U.S. who happily called Obama a nigger just because. Do you honestly think any of the above reasons matter to people like that? Democrats picked Clinton because she was electable. When the election came, democrats did what you did and said, "look how bad Trump is" and failed to point out those electable qualities Clinton possessed. I asked this half jokingly, but I am starting to think they knew there were not any, which is why they could not talk about them.

An example from my social media from a Trump supporter:
... I have no doubt that the DNC is kickin' themselves in the ass right now because they know damn well, and something every other sane person on the planet knew, that had they endorsed Bernie it would have been game over for Tump.

So why did Trump win you ask?

For the same reason we have been saying all along...that to vote for Trump was not to support some racist movement or to give an endorsement to the KKK. I mean seriously people, we have had a black president for 8 years...we are hardly a racist nation. No, this was not about race, immigration, or white power, it was a direct repudiation of the status quo. It was a slap in the face to the establishment which Hillary represented in spades. It was against far left liberalism, SJW's, political correctness and multiculturalism run amok. People didn't care if Trump flagrantly sexually assaulted women any more than they did about Bill Clinton playing hide the salami with his interns...

This was not about supporting racism, we had a black president after all; it is about multiculturalism run amuck. This was not about sex scandals, completely over looking that people were upset with the basic way he treated and talk to women; it is about standing against SJWs and political correctness. This was not about supporting an Alt-Right candidate; it was about being against far left liberalism, even though Clinton is a right leaning centrist and Bernie would have been the furthest left candidate the U.S. would have ever had on a major ticket. So much doublethink thinly veiled with buzz words.

Anyways, the point I am making is that obviously lots of U.S. voter saw the list we put together as assets and not flaws.

It might be the America you see on TV but in reality Americans are hard working, decent folks. I've traveled this entire nation, served in its military, and met some very good people. What's happening now is that manufactured controversies are controlling the narrative and the grip of fear has people by the throats. Now, all I get to do is sit and wait and hope the world doesn't burn in the interim. I fully expect the erosion of the first amendment to begin after January and I'll be watching intently on who Trump picks for his cabinet. I'm also going to watch the failed policies of trickle down economics put us back into a recession and I'm also going to remember the lesson of World War I when it came to protectionist policies.

I just hope that I'm dead wrong.

I think my above posts of piss and vinegar were premature. It appeared to me that the silent majority was actually real, and that scared the shit out of me. However, that is not the case, we just have a shit load of apathetic voters. Do not get me wrong, I am also mad at those people too, but not for the same reason and not to the same degree.

Why the fuck would you not vote? Unless one is going to actively take up arms against their government, the only way average people can influence and make changes is by voting. Why would anyone choose not to do this basic of all rights? I am not going to sit here and say they are the reason Trump won, I do not know how that 23% would have voted, I just do not understand what the point is in wasting your vote like that. Actually going out and casting a vote is never a waste, because your vote is counted and your voice is heard. Beyond that there are tons of down ballot issues to vote for that have a far faster and closer impact on your life. To everyone in the U.S. that chose not to vote, FUCK YOU. You are no better than the anti-vaxxers of this world.

I don't find it that surprising. People don't care that much. Last time they voted for change and not that much changed. If Obama failed do you think Clinton would do better?

Some interesting facts 2 charts that show Donald Trump is not as popular as he would have you believe

Fewer people voted for Trump than did for McCain or Romney in previous elections. It's Clinton who failed.

It is because she is not trust worthy and in all likelihood a criminal. She lied to the FBI several times, which is against the law. If you or I had lied to the FBI, we would be charged with a crime. She only cares about money, power, and herself.
