Where am I from?

Arkansas, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio, England, Florida, Oklahoma, Germany, Texas.

Where am I now?

A suburb near Dayton, Ohio ..... surrounded by corn fields, soy beans, and funnel cakes

I'm from Cincinnati, OH originally. Though now I live in Worcester, MA which is to Boston what Dayton is to Cincinnati.

Dayton isn't that bad. But of course like every other Ohio city as soon as you go 20 miles in any direction you are in farmland, as opposed to out here when you go 20 miles in any direction and you are in another city, pretty much.

A native of the Queen City, eh? Nice.

I'm at the far edge of a Dayton suburb ... and you are correct about the bucolic nature of the surrounding countryside. It doesn't bother me, though. I spent almost every summer of my youth at my grandparents' farm in rural Wisconsin. I grew to love the smell of that fresh dairy air.

;)
