I agree. Thunderf00t needs to stop feeding the trolls. He is being trolled and making those videos is giving them exactly what they want. I really wish he would just stop and go back to his science videos. I am still subscribed to him, but am just ignoring his drama videos.

I subscribed to Coughlan for comedy. And my, oh my, am I rewarded.

Drama is great.

That said, Thunderf00t has become a huge douchebag. I remember that Magic Sandwich show with PCS. PCS said something about Jesus calling his disciples the salt of the earth. Thunderf00t's response? "WHY SALT? WHY NOT ANY OTHER SPICE, HERP DERP!" Of course Shawn got a bit pissy and rightly so.

Later on VFX would say that either the universe is has a cause or has no cause. Thunderf00t's response was that it was a false dichotomy. Upon Shawn's inquiry what other options there are besides A and not-A, he had no answer.

something that someone might find funny, others might see not in the same way.

This. And thunderf00t is again being utterly misleading with his pointing out that the coughlan666 channel was permabanned. He was taken down by a false flagging campaign, all the public details of which are still available in the form of videos on the coughlan616 channel and video responses from other youtube users at the time.
When he first mentioned it in the video, I thought perhaps thunderf00t had just not researched it as thoroughly as he perhaps should have. But to mention it again repeatedly and make the claim that coughlan shouldn't even be on Youtube is clearly intentionally dishonest.

This point was raised by Coughlan in his response, and by countless people in the comments of thunderf00t's video. And of course there's a chance he even browses these forums (unlikely though, considering his past asshattery towards AW and th1swasatr1umph), in which case he would likely see this thread.

There is no way for him to miss that simple fact. Will thunderf00t apologise for the error or even add an annotation correcting and retracting it? My prediction is "not a fucking chance".

This is my issue with him. The slander he resorts to is just dirty. He did it when he equated the park 51 people to the WBC, and now he's at it again. I'm not left with many options but to unsubscribe right now.

I think that TF has every right to respond to his (childish) critics, but I'd rather see him do it on a different channel. I also haven't watched the last MSS because it was SOOOOOO boring.

Can't exactly agree that the guy who gets his legal advice from E-trolls and who starts pointless drama is "the mature" one. Coughland, in previous "dramas" have actually cited sources and kept good tabs at what have happened and who said what. And I remember the first drama they had. The thing that went over many people's heads is the fact that the drama started because Thunderf00t didn't read his own fucking sources in his videos where he talk about Science and Islam, and coughlan called him out on it.
What reply did tf00t eventually give him? Tf00t, with no qualifications and nothing but a wikipedia article and a TROLLS VIDEO, started to diagnose Couglan as mentally disturbed.
Such a mature guy, eh?

By the way, nothing of the "unwarranted" stuff were something to get one's channel pulled down for. Coughlan was false flagged, and tf00t straight out fucking ignores that fact.

Like I said, I don't know who started the drama or why and frankly I don't care. But shopping pictures of a person into porn? Slandering the family? etc.? That doesn't show a great deal of maturity.
Whether or not Coughlan is indeed crazy, I can't say. I can however say that he acts like a madman so I'm inclined to give Tf00t the benefit of the doubt here rather than Coughlan.

IIRC, it was primarily creationists, a few right-wingers plus several generic trolls-without-a-cause flagging his videos over a long period of time, filling up the three strikes until his account was suspended several times, re-instated and finally unjustly permabanned.

But shopping pictures of a person into porn?

The porn thing at any rate was demonstrably not Coughlan, but someone else who knows him.

I like Tunderf00t's science videos, and really laugh at the "laughing at creationinsts", when he started against the muslims I thought he had a point (free speech FTW!) but he seemed rabid against them, I comented on a video that I thought he should change the tone because he was just being inflamatory, I'm nobody so I don't know if he read it or cared.

I still like his videos (he has a nice narrative voice and edits well) but recently it seems spends more time defending himself than anything else, (which is understandable he is being hit a lot but that comes with the "atheist mini celebrity" status, and the "Im going to piss on everybody" attitude which make him who he is) sadly this is a smart fellow who I believe bit a tad more than he could chew.

I hope he gets back to the science and debunking videos, those were fun, in any case I hope he is happy wherever he is because I belive he is a good guy after all.
