Yeah
I was talking to this Faitheist recently and he was so damn sure his views were the right ones that he reminded me of an evangelical christian. Check your ego homie, you don't know shit.

Eh? There is no emotional content in that response; how did you manage to read one into it?
I manage to do things like that. Sorry.
Those people. No more free thinkers (a term they love to apply to themselves) than Branch Davidians; little more than a mob.
Agreed. I never said that people on other sites were as open minded as the people on this site. I do specifically remember stating that they talk about crazy shit.

Hakuna matata.

Pardon? I didn't say you did. It wasn't directed toward, or related to, anything you've said. It was just a casual, quasi-provocative, self-contained joke. Or at least, that was the intent... :D
I do specifically remember stating that they talk about crazy shit.

Who they?

Sorry Prolescum. I was referring to some comments I had made in the introductions section. I apologize if you think me and bluejay are crazy right now. ;)

Hm well I definitely would approve an end to religion under certain circumstances. I also think atheism is the most skeptically sound position barring those who base their religions off of solely personal experience, though I don't take their word seriously anyway and most don't expect others to either. I don't think atheists could be gathered into any particular bloc anyway, however I'd contend that those with the No-Belief-Without-Evidence position have the superior one, regardless of their demeanor.

That misses my point, though; freedom (for everyone) is more important than the gods you don't worship. Can't have it both ways.

The position isn't under contention. I'm an atheist myself.

Tell all of your friends and family members who may be interested, even if they're not already a part of the atheist movement. Especially if they're not already part of the atheist movement.

Come to show America that non-theists are a voting block that exists.

Come to give Rick Santorum a heart attack by showing that yes, secularism IS trying to take over our government.

I agree that it is the only tenable position, but again, this isn't what I was getting at.

Yeah I know they're trying, I don't think it will succeed.

And when I say an end to religion I mean if everyone instantly stopped accepted anything without evidence, but obviously this isn't happening.

Friends who dont realize that the volume they think is whispering is actually perfect for the person you wouldnt want to over hear to do so, despite years of correcting and pleading to just be not loud.

My back irks me.
I slipped on a lung, went ass over tit and blew my back out.
Really what I should do is smoke a big fatty and go be horizontal, but I'm a masochist so I'm not gonna

Bit a piece of my tongue off (of course I played with it after, don't be silly), and woke up the next morning forgetting I was naked, slid along the sheets and gave myself a terrible friction burn in just the worst possible place. Best part is I didn't even register what the pain was from until I was at work wearing some rather loose and rough boxers. Had to seriously tuck and give myself a massive frontal wedgie to avoid pain.

A few days later and both are still bugging me  :) :(

I don't even know what you were doing to manage to bite your tongue and give your self a severe friction burn there
and what are your sheets made of btw, wow *LOL*
Hope you heal up soon so you can get back to whatever interesting hobbies you have
PS I recommend satin or silk sheets, less chance of interesting friction burns in sensitive places :D

Yes, I too want to know what the hell your sheets are made of.

Having to type using the on screen keyboard because mine is fucked...

Plus the computer shop is shut for the bank holiday so I can't just get a new one.

Do you have someone particular in mind?

Some people like to keep a sense of mystery about them. I can see keeping some sense of mystery but if I were to get to know someone, I could see how that could be a little annoying.

Someone who apparently knew me sent me a message on Twitter not really making it clear who it was (apparently on purpose), and when I asked how they knew me they got all touchy because I didn't remember them.
