Weird Movies

arg-fallbackName="stuart"/>
i don't think this is for explaining a film i think it may be for making the film...
but don't quote me on it

No, I'm pretty sure from my recollection of the film, that the posted diagram is an attempt to explain the narrative of the film.

It involves people getting into a box/room and travelling through time. At one point there are a number of timelines all running concurrently in the movie.

Although I could be wrong, the movie was incredibly complicated and difficult to follow. I'm not sure I could follow the film even with the timeline. :(

A Life less Ordinary
True Romance (possibly the best sceen is a movie ever..dennis hopper's swan song)
The Big Lebowski
Breakfast on Pluto
Grey Gardens (the original)

Was Return to Oz the one that had the weird things with wheels for hands? And a great deal of surreal stuff going down?

I don't know if these count as "weird", per se, but they were surreal in some sense.

Mirrormask
The Fall

Strange based on its presentation:

3 Iron (a korean film with mostly no sound)
koyanisquatzi (I don't even know if this counts as a movie)

Until I could see the subtleness of it, Hitchhiker's Guide had to be the weirdest thing Id ever seen.

I can't believe nobody has mentioned Dark City (myself included)

Good film, but I don't really consider it "weird". If it has a narrative that makes sense, it's not weird in my book.

Movies like Inland Empire or The Cabin on the other hand....definitely weird. The Pancake Karate Kid cannot be unseen.

NO, NO AND NO. I tried to watch it, really tried because I love Harvey Keitel, but Adam Sadler makes almost all movies he stars in unwatchable. I cannot understand how that man is considered to be funny. Tragically unfunny he is.

Definitely weird and beautiful. Shows all the religious insanity...

I will add Children of Man. Loved that movie.
