This might be due to a flood protection mod I have on the web server. Quite possibly I have it set a little bit too high 
Will look into changing the limits.
It's basically there to stop people from requesting the site over and over again and making it perform processing and database queries. If too many requests are received from a particular IP address, it will show the forbidden message and stop processing the request.
