I used to like Tf00t when he did his Why we laugh at creationists series, but the guy can't write for shit... I am now jumping on the "dislike Tf00t bandwagon"...

For reference, his first few blog posts have been spent putting forth barely coherent arguments about the whole TAM harassment internet mudslinging fest...

I think I'm done reading his blog if he's already demanding respect within 4 posts of a new blog and add that to what I've already seen in videos on YouTube, he just comes off as vitriolic and self-centered...

You know the impression I get from both PZ and Thunderf00t? The same impression. A loudmouth who, while I often I agree with him, loses my respect because he won't brook any dissent and ends up coming across as the very type of dogmatic person that he rails against. It's actually quite amusing to watch them bicker.

Good point ;)

I mostly read Ed Brayton's stuff and reading Aron's posts are always fun. Anyways, the OP was not to fling mud at Tf00t, I'm just wondering what everyone's opinion is if I'm judging too harshly.

I second that. I lost basically all my respect for Tf00t, which is a shame because his WDPLAC were really good (up until episode 32 or so) and even a few of his other videos (vs HowTheWorldWorks and such) were entertaining. But this? Sad, just sad.

Frankly, the whole TAM shambles is a consequence of bloggers minor fame gone to their heads IMO.
FtB my backside.
Rational people do not argue their personal disagreements through blog posts. Rational people do not throw their toys out of the pram when they have a personal disagreement.

My views on this person are also on record. This is entirely within character.

So, he apparently has a whole new audience and absolutely nothing of value to share, other than that he's a giant asshole with a chip on his shoulder and unearned privilege pouring out of his ears.

Same shit, different day.

I've stopped watching TMSS because he shows up there too. He's become a bit of an annoying figure now.

My god, that was industrial strength dull.

Someone left a comment basically saying, "you keep complaining that people misunderstand you, have you ever considered writing more clearly".

That about sums it up, it's self-bumming nonsense written by someone who clearly thinks that if someone doesn't agree with him, they are either wrong, or can't comprehend his utterly "perfect reasoning".

I'd rather eat my own head then read that again.

When he showed up on FtB, I thought that maybe there'd be some good stuff. I read the first post and already it was a lot of auto-fellatio. But oh well, maybe he's a little vain, surely the other posts will be better.
Then came the first "misogyny" post and I was... stunned. Damn, that was bad. Then came PZ's first reply. Then TF's reply and PZ's second reply. After that, I un-bookmarked TF's blog.

... and he lost his blog already. What a douche-canoe.

I want to know who decided he was worth putting on there in the first place?

Probably PZ and Ed Brayton. PZ knows douche-canoe from a couple of meetings/conventions, and they probably watched his first couple of anti-creationist videos and figured he was a good fit. I guess they didn't expect an adult to have a huge temper tantrum over anti-harassment policies at conventions he wasn't even attending, or for him to take a giant shit on the whole blog network in his first week.
