I'm afraid you have a mistake in the topic's title, it should be:

The world ends in six days, again

Is the thread's title going to count down as the day approaches?

Re: The world ends in six days

Well, how many times did it already end according to Jehova's Witnesses?
Seriously, if I had a buck for every time the world has already ended so far, I'd treat the throphy husband to a very nice meal at our favourite posh restaurant :D
And it will end again in 2012 because the Spanish fucked up the Mayans and therefore their calendar ends.

According to my timezone, it is now 5 days left until the end of the world.

Re: The world ends in six days

For those of you that are making plans for next Saturday make sure to google the following:

Eternal Earth-bound Pets.

I might just fly back from Mars to 'witness' this one.........

Now if I can just find my wormhole generator I'll be all set.

Re: The world ends in six days

I think this is the first time I've been excited in anticipation of nothing happening! Wee!!!!!! :p

I wonder if they're gonna be waiting all day on the day itself, like, "Any minute now! It's not the 22nd yet, there's still a couple minutes left til midnight!"

Apparently, it will occur at 6 PM every time zone, so it will be like a tsunami of raptures stretching across the world.

It's not even a continuous tsunami though, it's this bizarre stepwise tsunami that politely pauses at whatever jagged and somewhat arbitrary lines we've decided to lay down. If we see that the rapture is happening in the Pacific, couldn't we just kind of push all the timezones to the East to give everyone a few more hours? Or does god lock in our timezones on Friday?

Holy macaroni! you have no idea how hard is to learn to play that!
I do not play it, but I do not have time enough to do it (the world will end in 4 days!)

Even in piano, it is not so easy... it requires 4 hands: shit so much to learn and god give me 4 days!!!!

Perhaps if one were to travel fast enough heading West this all could be avoided? Could one 'outrun' the rapture?

I wonder what would happen if one were to transverse the gap between the last and 'first' block of raptured souls just at the right instance. Perhaps that person would learn all of the 'godly' secrets?

It appears we need to test this hypothesis.

I wonder if it will work in a wave-like fashion.
Did they ever mention if that was GMT? Because I live quite a ways off.
