most here have heard of these stories, where it is claimed that insurance companies send busses with people who they hired (term often used people the paid) to protest against health care reform.
this story to me seems a bit farfetched but seems to be quite plausible.
this idea if its true or some conspiracy made up flared up when i wondered around youtube and bumped into a video of HowTheWorldFails where he made a couple of video's attacking The Young Turks on a show the had several weeks ago where they had a video that looked quite amateuristic of someone who asked a couple of people who were helping people to protest against healthcare reform. Instead of showing that part of the video, he shows a part of the video of when TYT organized a pro-healthcare protest (TYT's goal was to show that some people do want healthcare reform), which by the way was not secretive but a planned event. HTWW then tries to compair TYT to those alleged companies, claiming they're doing the same thing.
the "amateur" video shown by TYT does make it more convincing that indeed it is real. However, there is no real evidence that it is real since for all things in that video can be easily explained as something else.
for example; the busses could have easily been rented by the local community, that lady with the clipboard with the list of names is the coordinator so that everyone who went also returns safely with no one left behind, that person who didn't want to give his name doesn't need to give it in the first place.
to satisfy my curiousity, what do you think?
do you think those busses are just a made up story that somehow turned into a conspiracy or that the story is real?
