I'm halfway through the book now, and its just the same arguements we've seen debunked over and over again.

I tried to get in touch with this guy once to ask about some of the holes in his theory. I was as nice as possible and refrained from referring to his ideas as batshit crazy. The only responses I ever got were from what I must assume was an assistant of some sort directing me to the details of his debate offer and requesting my scientific credentials. I responded that I was only interested in an exchange of ideas, not a debate. I received another email asking for my scientific credentials. After that, I realized that this guy was obviously not interested in having any form of dialog regarding his theory so I just decided that it wasn't worth my time.

BTW, saying there are holes in his theory was being EXTREMELY generous, and I'm not even a geologist.

Scrolling down to figure 2 made my head throb. Scroilling foreward was just a blur until I found the thing that made me stop reading.

The Theory of Organic Evolution Is Invalid.
Organic Evolution Has Never Been Observed.

That's really how it looks. This is less of a textbook and more of...something else.

I fell asleep typing this.

Why do I do this to myself? I used to BE a fundie, I understand the mentality behind all this. And I try to maintain an open mind about things. I have no qualms with creationists beliefs to be honest, they are free to have them. Just as you are free not to buy into their blissful ignorance. When looking at an arguement, I try to consider what each side claims and what they have to back it up, no matter how idiotic it may seem (the fact that they have never had, nor ever will have evidence for their side not withstanding). I do this for the same reason that I read the bible, jewish literature, qu'ran (still working on it), and as much religious material as possible. If I am going to ask them to put aside these things as I have for their lack of merit, I should atleast have read them first.

"The Theory of Organic Evolution Is Invalid.
Organic Evolution Has Never Been Observed."

For some strange reasons a few cases of evolution being observed come to my mind.

Also, following this logic:

The Theory of Biblical Instantaneous Creations is Invalid.
Biblical Instantaneous Creation has never been observed.
