No, I didn't see that but it's interesting.

It's worth noting that the Telegraph is owned by the famous, wealthy, reclusive and somewhat eldrich Barclay twins, who are Catholics. The paper is unlikely to be critical of the church, but it's also possible that the twins have critical opinions about the church giving compensation money to victims of child abuse.

But it's well funny that such a memo should be circulated!

It was an internal joke that fell into the wrong hands.
A very non-story.

Now it appears that the vatican my use it as an excuse to cancel his trip and avoid protestors etc.

This was on BBC news all of yesterday, great stuff - hilarious in fact.

We shouldn't have apologised for it.

Bah, the Daily Mail was all up in arms about it. I swear, there was so much bile in their articles (note the 's') about it, it was leaking out of the paper and down my arm while reading.

I think it's hilarious though, and we should really stop fucking apologising for things like it.

The Daily Mail can kiss my arse. They're such lying douches, I got really irritated when I looked through a copy today.

Yeah, I'm a bit sad like that.

Didn't the Daily Mail on Sunday accuse Nick Clegg of calling someone a Nazi? Or something like that... Might have been some other rag, now I come to think about it.

Yep, that was the Daily Mail. They totally misconstrued that story and if you read it, you can tell.

Problem with Daily Mail readers is that they're not big on reading.

Another problem with many Daily Mail readers is that they are neo-Nazis, as is evinced by their enthusiastic membership of Stormfront,.........and it actually made my skin crawl to type that word.

BTW, this post contains no hyperbole.

I'd never heard of Stormfront before now... It doesn't surprise me that such an organisation exists, but does slightly sicken me.
Has the Daily Mail ever shown support for Stormfront? It's clear from a quick search that the group clearly likes the Daily Mail, at any rate...
