The Lost World (2001)

...No, not the Hollywood one. The BBC one, aired over christmas in 2001, based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's book. It's primarily set in the (then largely unexplored) Amazon Rainforest in the early 1900s where there exist several populations of animals thought extinct-including dinosaurs and australopithecus. Basically it's a bunch of people going on an expedition to bring back specimens and make a scientist very famous on return to England.
The programme used the 3d models from the "Walking with Dinosaurs" and "Walking with Beasts" series.

I quite enjoyed it at the time, although I will have been less than ten years old and so wouldn't have had a very strong understanding of it. I can't find it anywhere now, which is a pity because I would probably watch it again and get more from the storyline than "ZOMG DINOSAURS" that I probably did all that time ago.
