AW,
What a nice poetic way to describe the "lonely robots" or otherwise known as space probes. I lived a lonely childhood, and still a lonely life. The cosmos are still my escape from my depressing life. I can just stare up into a clear night sky and I am just jolted with a euphoria of cheer, amazement, and wonder.

Now exactly on topic but I saw Jupiter and it's four largest moons through a telescope for the first time last night. I was completely blown away by these tiny specks of light, amazed that I was seeing another world and humbled by the sheer magnitude of the reality of what was before my eyes. If the weather holds I am hoping to get out to somewhere darker than my back garden for a better look tonight.
