At first I couldn't really understand any kind of logic to it... but now I think I do... She's toting the usual religious BS idea that we hate God because we want to sin (ie get drunk) alot, so she thinks that by saying Christians experience this effect as well will make religion cool....

I'm not surprised at all. Being drunk is about 90% in your head anyway. As someone who has been drunk many times, I know. I've seen huge guys seem completely trashed after 1 beer, and tiny guys that seem totally fine after 12. It's all about how much you want to let go of your inhibitions.
Anyway, she's not really crazy. She just wants to be something and therefore is. The mind is a powerful thing. But it has jack shit to do with Jesus or God.
