About me - I'm a 45 year old IT professional in California.
I grew up in a completely non-religious home (Dad: "Religion and politics have no place at the dinner table"). I grew up atheist I guess. Mostly because I never knew much about god and religion and when I learned more I never felt the need to believe. I hadn't thought much about it until a few years ago when things heated up regarding getting creationism into the schools. That pissed me off and I began exploring more of how I truly felt.
Why I'm here - Hopefully I can contribute something. I have lots of opinions and thoughts. Mostly I have questions. I joined a Christian message board a few years ago. I eventually got kicked off. Not for being rude or mean or anything. Just for asking questions that they felt conflicted with their beliefs.
