Terrorism

This comparison is nonsense. The Christian fundamentalists have done very little for a very long time. If this thread was opened during the Christianities barbarism heyday fine but they have moved on. In 2011 the terrorism comes 99.99% from Islam.

True Facts.

Bullshit.

Terrorism, is by definition, "violent acts which are intended to create fear, are perpetrated for a religious, political or ideological goal, and deliberately target or disregard the safety of non-combatants". Yeah, blowing yourself up on the tube is terrorism. But then so is "queer bashing" or (if you like your football) sending bombs to an opposing teams manager because they're a Catholic team and you support a Protestant team. Any violent act that creates fear is a bigger genre than that of bombs and guns. Sectarianism, homophobia, racism, sexism, political ideology...all of these involve a degree of terrorism in some way when paired with fundamentalism.

Christianity has been doing this longer than Islam, and Judaism longer still. Even Hinduism, the oldest religion, isn't exempt. Plus just look at what has just happened in Norway; a far-right anti-Islamic, anti-cultural dickhead shoots up an island of kids. That is terrorism, no muslims involved.

99.99% of terrorism doesn't come from Islam. Not even close. Though feel free to back up that figure with evidence. In your own time...

I dont know how you dont get things done in the ancient past mean nothing these days fortunately Christianity moved on a long time ago.
I wonder how many would bring up Muslim terrorism if this was just talking strictly about Christians.

" this thing ( Christianity ) does bad things " ... yeah well so does ... " this thing ( Islam ) does bad things "

I cant imagine it but it works the other way around for some reason this filter for Islam. Uhh. It annoys.

The disconnect from reality is stunning.
I could come up with a few prominent examples like 9/11 and 7/11 but that would do injustice to the sheer number of them worldwide.

Exactly when exactly did Christianity move on? Was it before last year when African countries in the name of Jebus outlawed homosexuality and enacted a government sponsored terror campaign against the gays? Was it before or after the IRA? Maybe the sectarian morons in Glasgow didn't get the memo. Did the WBC simply forget?

I could come up with many more examples than 9/11 and 7/7 but I simply don't have the time. Try Norway on Saturday, or The UK from the late 1500s onwards. Or child rape in the Catholic church. All acts of terror and fear. You choose.

I know some Irish and Scottish people who would tell you how amazing it is that your sphincter has vocal chords.
The disconnect from reality is stunning.

Not nearly as stunning as the irony in the above sentence.

Right.
The IRA. Ever heard of them? Christian terrorists.

The Ku Klux Klan. Christian terrorists.

The Lord's Resistance Army (Uganda). Christian terrorists.

The Iron Guard; the National Liberation Front of Tripura; the Manmasi National Christian Army; The Covenant, The Sword, and the Arm of the Lord; Defensive Action; The Freemen Community; The Lambs of Christ.

I could go on.

Look how many of those are associated with white supremacist, Nazi, or other Christian-associated groups.

That's right.
All Christians have moved on from extremism simply because the only terrorists they report on are the weird brown people that speak funny and wear sheets on their heads in your twiddle-thumb of the Daily Mail and Fox News.

:I

We're not mentally retarded enough to assign press coveredge as evidence that it doesn't happen.
"No little black girls get kidnapped, because all that I see on CNN is that they're waging a search for the little white girls with rich mommies and daddies."
