Because it's already monday, therefore I can talk about saturday. Last saturday I spent time celebrating my younger sister's birthday. In general, I usually spend my saturdays reading books or drinking a cup of coffee with friends.

Ummm.....thats really nice......but what does this have to do with room sharing at a convention/conference thing?

I'm heading to TAM London, no idea what I'm doing about lodging to be honest. I really should look into that soon though, I haven't bought flight tickets either, which is quite stupid of me, as they are sure to get more expensive with each passing day.

Have you looked into any alternatives in the nearby area of the convention?

PS: I'm heading over from Norway, btw.

I havn't yet, which is silly as London is pricey. However if theres a hotel room or the like to share that might be worth it. Although i've just remembered theres a fairly decent youth hostel near kings cross, i'll try and check it out in the next day or so.

Looks like theres loads of space over the TAM weekend and you can get the 3 nights for under ,£80.

Update: Have now booked flight tickets, will arrive at heathrow late friday night and leave monday night, so need accomodation 3 nights.

Last year I stayed at the YHA St. Paul's which was great - nothing special, but everything I needed at a great price (you know, London considering and all).

Think I'll end up booking at the YHA Hostel you linked - altough I noticed there was one that was closer to the TAM Venue. Neither is in walking distance though, and I guess the one near King's Cross is better connected considering both bus and tube, I'll have to double check though.

If you do find a hotel room that is affordable and your looking for someone to share, I am definitly in.

My wife and I are already booked into one of the London Travelodges. I can't remember which offhand. If you want something cheap by London standards but a step up from a youth hostel (ie you get your own room and bathroom!) you could try the Travelodge site.
