Scottish independence

Greetings,

Any predictions?

I predict NO! (though close).

Kindest regards,

James

So the scots are sticking about for the forseeable.

Oh well.

I have to say it's a shame. I was looking forward to the start of the process of quietly handing over responsibility for celtic microstates over to the EU.

Ironically if Alec Salmond was that dead set on scottish independence a better strategy would have been to let England vote alongside Scotland. The answer from the southwest at least would have been "don't let the door hit on you on the way out, and take the bloody cornish with you".

Also sad that Plymouth wont be on the (now defunct) shortlist for rehoming trident submarines now the SNP's master gambit has failed. We could do with the several thousand jobs the maintenance of them would create.

Anyone know when the next attempt is? I'd happily throw a bit of cash behind the next "yes" campaign.

Maybe Scotland could trade places with Quebec. It seems fair.

I love hearing 'Tredeau' in a Scottish voice.

Or maybe we could detach scotland from the rest of this island and surreptitiously attach it to the side of quebec.

Scottish, French, quasi-French, it's all the same slippery treacherous breed so they should get on great with each other.
