Ridiculous U.S. gun laws.

arg-fallbackName="Greg the Grouper"/>
I think we can all agree that (A) not everyone who breaks a law is caught or convicted of breaking a law, and that (B) not everyone who is convicted of breaking a law has broken a law, or at the least hasn't broken the law they were convicted of breaking.

I would argue that, based on these premises, the category of criminal might best be defined as 'someone convicted of breaking the law, as can best be determined with all available evidence'.

This should, in my mind, distinguish the subset 'criminal' from the general populace in the percentage of each group that has broken the law, with the subset of 'criminal' having a greater percentage of lawbreakers in comparison to the general populace.

I suppose we could discuss how meaningful this particular distinction is?

Censorship! Members' rights!

Ha :) I'm just tired of him continuing to do what practically everyone keeps objecting to, pretending he has a point when he doesn't. It's childish, he can have a few hours break to reflect. Doubtless nothing will change when he returns, but time will tell.

This is why I post my delusional ravings elsewhere.

Indeed so - you and that Bogus QAnon guy managed to drag the average I.Q. of this forum down precipitously just by your presence.
Pray tell, do you do special training for your back?
Gotta be hard to keep your spine from collapsing under the sheer weight of your head.

A perfect example of the inanity you produce.

How do we go from me defining YOU as irrational based on your litany of stupid comments, to that meaning that I am boasting of my own prowess?

Answer: we don't - because it's a non-sequitur, but you're too daft to see it.

Are you serious?
You write "Indeed so - you and that Bogus QAnon guy managed to drag the average I.Q. of this forum down precipitously just by your presence."
And then you accuse other of inanity, irrationality and making stupid comments?
It is as if you can not read what you write yourself.

You also read my request for the deletion of my account and all comments by now, so you should know, that anything I write is completly inconsequential and any reply of yours is utter vanity.

Or it's like you have precisely fuck all grasp of logic, because you've still not actually connected the ideas at all - merely pointed out the sequence of events.

This is the exact reason why you're netting these responses - whatever your name is - not because we're all meanies (which we definitely are) but because you keep gibbering nonsense then refusing to acknowledge your errors.

At least with the former, that's nothing new - you're lacking in elementary reasoning capabilities, which is why you keep netting rejections of your poorly conceived notions.

Blame everyone else though, and head back off to snooze your way through life.

You don't need a large head, you just need to learn how to use it. It's a skill. Anybody can learn to think properly, although there will obviously be limits based on certain physiological and genetic factors, but it's not even a difficult skill, it just require diligence, honesty and the willingness to engage n brutal self-reflection. A lot of it is predicated on a few very simple and straightforward rules, while much of the rest is being able to look objectively at the things you think of as having factual status and testing them to find out if that's actually the case. The things we think we know, and the skills we think we possess, are often the biggest barrier to learning and to developing and refining new skills.

One of the things that most massively impacts IQ in both individual and societal terms is inertia. We think we know something, and we won't be swayed. It's not an easy thing to train yourself out of, because it stems from a necessary part of our evolutionary survival strategy. Gullibility is an important factor in our early development, and it takes an effort of will to train yourself out of it. And remember, gullibility isn't just about uncritically believing the things others tell you, it's considerably more about the things you tell yourself. The things we hold to be true - and especially those we think are self-evident - are the things we have to challenge the most stringently. Once you can learn to do that honestly with yourself, you'll be as smart as my cohort here.

And trust me, he really is, despite whatever protestations he might erect.

Or it stands as a lesson to whomever comes along later.

What, you think your request for deletion is certainly going to be met? I suspect you'll find that this is entirely at the discretion of the owners, and some of your content wasn't awful, and the rest will serve nicely as an object lesson in how not to do it.

Either way, Shaker's Law seems not to have diminished in potency.

You do realize, that at this point, you are just jerking off your own ego, dont you?

You do realize we all know what psychological projection is, right?

Weren't you supposed to have flounced already? You can't make a big hoo-haa, slam the door, then poke your head back in 'and another thing!'. It just makes you look even more of a tool.
