Rhysz passed away

Hi,

I just saw this video:




For those that don't know, Rhysz actually used to be a chat moderator here on LoR some years back.

I didn't know him very well back then, and hadn't really heard from him since, but it was still an unpleasant surprise to hear this. He was only 33.

If I remember correctly Rhysz was one of the first chat moderators here back when CosmicSpork transferred the site over from the first incarnation, and I believe he was a huge part of the youtube atheism & blogtv communities.

I haven't spoken to him for a long time. I'm really shocked right now.

I didn't always agree with his conduct but I would never have wished anything to happen to him.

He hasn't posted on here for 2 years or so, but last logged in, in September 2011...

Can we turn Rhysz into an internet meme?

Seems fitting that such a character with this presence online hold immortality in such a poetic legacy.

I was told a meme can not be created. That memes happen...and while it makes sense, that doesn't mean it's not something that can't be helped along.

I was thinking of a meme along the lines of a joke (assuming Rhysz is pronounced "Rise").

"Rhysz fails Jesus fails Rhysz"

A sort of play on words poking fun at the second coming of christ whilst illuminating the free thinker that Rhysz was and drawing attention to the cyclical nature of anything based in faith.
