Hey, I missed the last show that was hosted by Tf00t, AronRa, DonExodus, Andromedaswake and DPR. http://www.youtube.com/user/LeagueOfReasonTV They uploaded parts of it here, but I wanted to listen to the whole show. Is there anything we can do to just have the entire show in its entirety uploaded so everyone can just Download it?

Record the LeagueOfReason TV Show?

There have been quite a few people requesting a podcast of the show. I suggested in the blog discussion thread that it cost a bit of money to contribute to the running costs of the LoR. As I understand it, Sporky pays for the site off his own back, which hardly seems fair so maybe the podcast should help or even fully pay for the running costs.
If the league put up a paypal donations link I am sure myself and many more people would contribute a small monthly fee of say $5US to login to a private members area and watch it if running costs is an issue. Have options such as google video and msn video been looked at if youtube doesn't support videos of this length. Surely there must be sites that serve videos of this length for free.

Just to further this idea a little more. My football team's fan forum has a thermometer type graphic on the front page which has a monthly target of $140AUS which members contribute to. In 3 years it has always been met as far as I can tell. I dont contribute every month but if it is getting close to the end of a month and they are $5 or $10 short I will top it up.
and for those who are interested....my team is the Brisbane Roar in the A-League (Australia). Yes I know they self destructed last year. Yes I will still be supporting them until the day I die regardless.

I'd really rather not rely on donations of any kind. I am responsible for tidying up, processing and posting the clips from the show and would rather just make it a partner channel. This would give me the ability to upload much longer clips (read: "whole show if good enough") and generate a meagre but still enticing sum of money for the time, without costing the community.
I have applied for partnership, but youtube takes a while to get through the applications. Watch this space.
