Quran number miracles?

I got this PM on youtube, and while it won't convince me that a seemingly nonexistant being exists, it's still interesting. I'm wondering if there's any truth to this or did someone just pull these numbers out of their ass or something? Google seems to come up with just muslim sites, such as http://www.quranmiracles.com/, which has even more numbers and shit.

If we add up the total words of both 'sea' and 'land' we get 45. Now if we do a simple calculation:
32/45 X 100% = 71.11111111%
13/45 X 100% = 28.88888888%

Above is what we know today, the percentages of Water (Sea) and Land in the world. Yet another miracle in the Quran.

The Miracles of the Quran will never end. There will never be a time where mankind can fully take in the knowledge that is in this Holy book. It is a miracle to all mankind, the word of God. There is no value that one can set to the words of the Creator. It is a treasure of which guides those that want to succeed in this life and the hereafter.

See, if we see in detail, then we should have a large number of Miracles narrated in Quran. Quran is the only source whcih will Update people every time till The Day of Judgement.

Please dear, i suggest you go and count at least 1 of the above words and you will have your answer. Now tell me dear, do u still feel like breaking your computer on my head for telling you to believe in Islam?
My dear, if u feel an atom's weight of belief in Islam after this, then please dont ignore that belief, because maybe God will say, I even gave u belief in your heart after u saw My miracles, but you ignored it because you were born a Christian/Atheist and never thought of looking into other religions. Hence you have earned your Hell.
please dear, for at least once, look through my eyes at you. you are simply closing your eyes and ears against the truth because you dont have the strength to face the truth.
Just ask any Christian revert to Islam, why did you leave Christianity for Islam, not for Judaism or Buddhism or atheism. i am sure you will find your answer, dear.

I have got one of those too on youtube PMs, about embryology.
I explained how they missed the part in qur'an where bones come first and then flesh. And then accused the person who posted that for not thinking for himself, but relying on copy-pasting from islamic sites. I never got a reply... ;)

Now, ASSUMING that those are correct, they wouldn't quote mine their own holy book, would they? Then so what? Like with bible codes, I'm sure you can do the same thing with Harry Potter. And funny how quick they threaten you with hell.
Asking someone who converted to islam? Then how about asking someone who converted FROM islam?

They've found the most obscure numbers and screwed about with them with other numbers, there is no magic or mystery here. The same has been done with the bible and you can do it with your own name, age and whatever else you wish to throw in the mix.

Oh, I hate Twilight just because the writer is a mormon. I have a friend whose family is in the LDS, and everytime I visit someone always asks whether or not I've read Twilight and just has to point out that a mormon wrote it.

If you add the number of times Richard Dawkins mentions "God" in his book "The God Delusion" and add the number of times he mentions "Evolution" Then divide them by 115 which is approximately his IQ. You will get the value in % of how much this bullshit actually means to someone who knows better.

you have to understand, I've seen muslims say "surah number 56 talks about the earth, and it mentions Iron in arabic! now if you add each letter by numerical value, you get "x" and if we look at the periodic table 56 is related to Iron! which is the heart of the earth!"

it's irrelevant to bring this up. this is one of the reasons I'm beginning to somewhat dislike muslims more than any other group of religious fanatics simply because of the absurd assertions they attempt to make. You know whats amusing? they think swine flu is only given to people who eat "pork" so they think its a disease given by God to kill non muslims.

I got thirteen hits for land by the time I reached book 5. It's hard to tell though, because I went to a translation. Anybody want to try another one? I used http://www.skepticsannotatedbible.com/quran/index.htm and ctl-F a lot.

Actualy it is about 71% is the SURFACE covered with water and not 71% Water on the planet.
And I personaly never read the Quran in order to confirm what he has picked, but anyways that makes no difference because you can essentialy pick and chose something from almost anybook and find out an amazing coicidence.
Specially if it it involves mathematical operations (because with math you can basicaly turn any number into any number). Myabe I should open a topic predicting the doomsday to be every single day in order to ilustrate that.

I wonder why he didn't he picked the ammount of times the word eat and the word shit hapens in the Quran and see if they ammount to the same ratio.

Another thing... About pork... it was prohibated even in the Bible lol here is the hole explanation...

As regards the reason why eating pork is prohibited, we'd like to cite for the words of Dr. Zakir Naik, the president of Islamic Research Foundation, Mumbai. He states the following:
Dr. Zakir Naik said:
The fact that consumption of pork is prohibited in Islam is well known. The following points explain various aspects of this prohibition:

1. Pork prohibited in the Qur'an:
The Qur'an prohibits the consumption of pork in no less than 4 different places. It's prohibited in 2:173, 5:3, 6:145 and 16:115. For instance, Allah says: "Forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine, and that on which hath been invoked a name other than that of Allah." (Al-Ma'idah: 3)
The above verses of the Glorious Qur'an are sufficient to satisfy a Muslim as to why pork is forbidden.

2. Pork prohibited in the Bible:
Addressing the Christian who is likely to be convinced by his religious scriptures, the Bible prohibits the consumption of pork, in the book of Leviticus: ""¦and the swine, as he divideth the hoof, and be cloven footed, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you. Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcass shall ye not touch, they are unclean to you." (Leviticus chapter 11 verse 7 and 8)

Pork is also prohibited in the book of Deuteronomy: "And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you. Ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcass." (Deuteronomy chapter 14 verse 8)
A similar prohibition is repeated in the book of Isaiah chapter 65 verse 2-5.

3. Consumption of pork causes several diseases:
The other non-Muslims and atheists will agree only if convinced through reason, logic and science. Eating of pork can cause no less than seventy different types of diseases. A person can have various helminthes, like roundworm, pinworm, hookworm, etc. One of the most dangerous is Taenia Solium, which in a layman's terminology is called tapeworm. It harbors in the intestine and is very long. Its ova, i.e. eggs, enter the blood stream and can reach almost all the organs of the body. If it enters the brain it can cause memory loss. If it enters the heart it can cause heart attack and if it enters the eye it can cause blindness. If it enters the liver it can cause liver damage. It can damage almost all the organs of the body.

Another dangerous helminthes is Taenia Trichuriasis. A common misconception about pork is that if it is cooked well, these ova die. In a research project undertaken in America, it was found that out of twenty-four people suffering from Taenia tichurasis, twenty two had cooked the pork very well. This indicates that the ovas present in the pork do not die under normal cooking temperature.

4. Pork has fat building material:
Pork has very little muscle building material and contains excess of fat. This fat gets deposited in the vessels and can cause hypertension and heart attack.

5. The pig is one of the filthiest animals on earth: The pig is one of the filthiest animals on earth. It lives and thrives on muck, filth and dirt. In the villages they don't have modern toilets and the villagers excrete in the open air. Very often excreta are cleared by pigs.

Some may argue that in advanced countries like Australia, pigs are bred in very clean and hygienic conditions. Even in these hygienic conditions the pigs are kept together in sties. No matter how hard you try to keep them clean they are filthy by nature. They eat and enjoy their own as well as their neighbor's excreta.
