I just bought a new laptop with windows 7 64 bit and I downloaded google chrome. Now youtube looks like this

and the chrome store like this

Now youtube looks fine with ie and firefox. Does anyone know why this is and how I can fix this?

nope. that does not fix the problem. i have tried unistalling and reinstalling chrome and that did not work either.

I don't know. Try bringing up the developer console (F12) and reload and see if any errors pop up there. Errors would appear in the console (click the second button in the very bottom left corner).
You could also check to see if the css files are actually being loaded by clicking in the resources section.

Tsk tsk, another FireFox fanboy. ;)
I've got to admit, I used to love FF but had to use Chrome for a while due to various problems I had with an add-on I ran on FF and I haven't looked back since.
Duvel, did it work or are you still experiencing problems?

And it's only those two sites that cause a problem? Strange.
Have you checked if Java is installed properly? From what I remember YouTube uses Java and probably the iTunes store too so that might be the problem.

The last thing I can think of is to install/upgrade the Shockwave/Flash plugin.
If that's not it, I can't help you.

The developer console showed that some javascript files weren't loading - but the same URL would load in another browser.
We tried turning off "Predict network actions to improve page load performance" in the settings but that didn't make a difference.
So I'm stumped.
