I've seen much harder of these. I'm pretty bad at these riddles usually ^^. Here's one:
There's 2x5 camels on the ridge of a dune in the desert, like this:
_ ._._. _. _. --- ._ ._ ._ ._ ._
And they're facing each other. They cannot pass each other on the side, but they can jump over each other, but only forwards, not backwards. And there's one blank space in the middle (depicted by the three dashes). How do they move past each other?
You slide the middle match (the one which is the flat of the glass) along until the end meets the end of the neck.
Then you pick up the now 'disconnected' match and place it parallel to what was the old neck.
So the glass goes from
--------, --------
I
O I--------- / O I-------- // O ,--------
I I I
--------' -------- --------I
I I--------
I
And hopefully the forum wont remove the spaces and screw up my diagram
