The best anime episode ever is "Tower of Druaga" episode 1. If you've watched more than one anime in your life, this episode surely parodies some of the anime elements known to you.
I've never really taken a liking to Cowboy Bebop. Maybe because I only watched some localised episodes. Even the best shows are crap when localised. The voice acting is just on a completely different level.

Yeah, the thing I noticed about CB is the story itself is quite minimal through the series, maybe 5 or 6 episodes actually focus on Spike and Vicious. The rest are random character building stories, but I still enjoyed it.

Anime-Shippuuden usually works fine. I wouldn't recommend downloading the entire series just to watch that one ep though, as everything past episode 1 is unfunny, boring and poorly written. Well, if episode 2 and 3 are of any indication.
I'll check your CB ep when I'm at my place (=> access to faster net) again.

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, any episode ^.x If I had to pick, I'd say 8 or 11, or 1 if you've never seen the series.
The dub isn't half bad, but the original language is definitely superior. If you can't get the OL, the dub is free on youtube ^.^
Physics will be in the corner crying for about 27 episodes.

I've become anime-obsessed lately. I'm less interested in mecha, though. Some of my favourites are Full Metal Alchemist, D-gray man, Rorouni Kenshin, and a few others that slip my mind. I've just finished Aquarion and Samuri 7, and both were pretty good.

If you give me a particular genre you like best, I can supply you with a long list of excellent anime.
If you liked FMA, you might like Hunter X Hunter (more drama, btw this is my favourite anime of all time hahaha) or Soul Eater (more comedy).

I've been switching between genres and testing them out (except for the rather gross ones). I suppose I like the epic hero-type stories with at least a smattering of female in them.
I did try soul eater. Two episodes failed to lure me in, I guess I felt like it was a bit too cartoony. (har har.)
