So, why dont you want to go back to my kinneo? It looks fun.

Very nice. Why did you take that sunset picture like that?

I'm just an amateur myself, but here are a few ideas:

When composing a shot, try not to put the subject (be it a graffito, a person or a bird) right in the centre of the frame. Try googling "the rule of thirds" and "the golden mean" or "the golden ratio" for a few basic composition tips. In general a central composition only works if the subject is really symmetrical. Of course none of the rules of composition are hard and fast but they can be helpful. also it's easier to break the rules effectively when you know what they are.

I don't know what settings your camera has, but if it has manual ones then why not try experimenting with them. See what happens when you vary shutter speed, aperture and ISO.

If you want to know whether it's worth listening to my advice, check out my flickr stream. It's in my profile. As I say I'm no pro but photography is one of my preferred hobbies...

I quite like the grafitti shots.

I also really like your shot of the path leading down to the lake.

Here's my flickr account:

I know, it's mostly cars but there are some non-car shots.
