I found this video series, they are basically an introduction to several philosophers.

there are talks about Socrates, Epicurus, Seneca, Montaigne, Schopenhauer and Nietzsche, six series in total, respectively.

i'v already seen these but the're worth watching.

although, alain the presenter...i dont like so much

if i remeber correctly there is a funny bit at the end of one where he asks out this jilted woman who turns him down
it seems a little bit too awkward to be staged .

I recommend also watching Bryan Magee's introduction to the great philosophers, is by far the best thing i have come across. Theres some if not all scattered on youtube.

Also Rick Roderick s lectures, ill post them ....later maybe, but its on youtube

Doc. Sweet find buddy! These are really great videos and I'd recommend them to everybody. I'd even suggest that this thread be stickied for prosperity...

thanks, they are great indeed. I especially liked one on Montaigne since the little I have known about his philosophy, it gave me a lot of food for thought. I might consider opening topics on subjects raised these videos.
