Bigotry or Fair ?

Islam teaches intolerance against gays.
Islam teaches intolerance of non believers.
Islam teaches women are inferior.
Islam wants to dominate the world.
Islam thinks of human rights as an insult to god.
Islam teaches jihad.
Islam teaches people to kill their own family for " honour ".
Islam causes a crippling sexual repression.

These statements are demonstrably correct and can be shown to be true easily.
I didn't mention Muslims which is a bonus for you politically correct thumbsuckers out there.

So does Christianity and Judaism. Have at them!

So this is fair criticism ?
I could make some others points like Islamic governments STILL killing gays and but not really much need especially to you.

" Also, citing the Daily Mail? Called it. Also, "

The survey is from Wiki Leaks just written up in the Daily Mail.

Muslims believe Islam. It cant be an attack on Muslims saying they believe teachings of Islam. LOL. What a muppet.

It is when you infer things without citations, like fundamentalism for example? What denomination of Islam are we talking about anyway? Do you even know?

This has moved to straight denial. The survey is from WIKI LEAKS. I just gave the first links corroborating. I just destroyed you both put away your politically correct filters.

I have given citations while you have done nothing but be a troll and talk nonsense.
I dont care about which denomination of Islam.
I see Islam as the problem their petty whining about which " version " is best means nothing to me.
I'm done with you.

No Sharia.

Let's take a closer look at the Daily fail source shall we?

The article starts like this:
Around a third of young British Muslims favour killing in the name of Islam, according to a survey revealed by the WikiLeaks' publication of U.S. diplomatic cables.

Let's look at the numbers shall we?
A survey of 600 Muslim students at 30 universities throughout Britain found that 32 per cent of Muslim respondents believed killing in the name of religion is justified.

So a survey based on 600 muslims (of which only around 200 agreed with Sharia) now means a third of all British Muslim students support Sharia? And you're claiming I'm talking nonsense?

How dishonest is it to claim 30% of Muslim students in the UK want Sharia when only 200 said they did? On a scale of 1 to 10?

Which is citing a poll from a neoconservative organization... not exactly a source that anyone should consider unbiased, or even reasonable.

I love the smell of confirmation bias in the morning. At least the DM limited it's dishonesty to British Muslim students. The FaithFreedom link claims 30% of all Britsh Muslims supports Sharia.

That, Mr Virtuoso, is what we call lying.

And without the actual poll, there could be even more lying. Without knowing the questions or answers, and considering the source, we can't say ANYTHING about the poll, let alone Muslims in general.

Even that 30% number seems really high. I'll bet I know the tone of the questions.

"If two non muslims were raping your muslim mother, would you stop them even if the only was to kill them?"

Answers yes...

"See, this one believes in killing non-muslims!"

Yeah, or like this: "Do you believe that it is acceptable for Muslims in Afghanistan to fight against the foreign occupying forces?" and 30% say yes.

Fuck you, Austra. That was going to be my next post when I got onto my computer. :I

Anyone who cites the Daily Mail might as well be citing Bill 'O when it comes to Tides and Juggalos to magnets.

I know 10 Muslims, and all 10 of them do not adhere to Shariah Law - therefore 100% of Muslims do not adhere to Shariah Law.
Yes. WikiLeaks did the survey. But the survey is being astoundingly distributed out of any form of context, and skewing the numbers based upon a very VERY small sample size. WikiLeaks wasn't out to smear all people that hold the belief in Islam - so take off your Glen Beck hat and put down the stupid pills.

You said, verbatim, UNTOLD MILLIONS ACROSS EUROPE - when the survey was of 600 individuals in a single country going to universities, and from there it was revealed that only 30% of them actually did.
It didn't even hand out a survey that crossed cultural or class lines. Probably because the Survey wasn't actually conducted by WikiLeaks. The survey was conducted by the British Government in the interest of relations with Islamic students in Universities.

Citing a source that you haven't even read, and it not agreeing with you upon scrutiny, makes you not only dishonest but also allows me to question your state of mental capacity.

The latest WikiLeaks revelation? Has no-one at the Daily Mail heard of google? You know, the Centre for Social Cohesion actually has a website:

http://www.socialcohesion.co.uk

And their surveys are publicly available. Here you go, the entire "secret survey":

http://www.socialcohesion.co.uk/files/1231525079_1.pdf

The Muslim students poll can be found in Appendix 1, starting on page 88. The question, "Is it ever justifiable to kill in the name of religion?", is on page 95. Answers:

Yes, in order to preserve and promote that religion: 4%
Yes, but only if that religion is under attack: 28%
No, it is never justifiable: 53%
Not sure: 15%

arg-fallbackName="Gnomesmusher"/>
How much does anyone want to bet that the percentage of Christians who said they would kill if their religion was under attack would be even higher than the 28% for Muslims? Heck how many would kill for their dog or cat if it was under attack? I'd say pretty damn close as well.

... and there's the wording issue right there!

Does the phrase "religion is under attack" mean "being criticized by atheists and believers in other religions" or "members of one religion are being physically attacked by atheists and believers in other religions" or "Holocaust 2.0"? Certainly that would explain the high "Not Sure" number.

in worst case scenario, that would be 47% that find it justifiable to kill in the name of religion.
and probably even higher, because the only correct answer if you want to be seen peacefull is: "no, it's never justifiable".
in best case scenario, still 4%, still quite alot.
in my opinion, i would go all FBI/CIA/KGB on those people and see if an imam is talking them into this kind of crazy thought and give that guy a one way ticket to the southpole.

I'm not sure if you're trolling, or if you're some form of mentally handicapped.
Fundamentalists are the people who follow a strict interpretation of fundamental beliefs.

Then you have the several other hundred million people on the planet that don't agree with that initial posit. You know, the ones that mostly don't live in a 3rd world country.
The revolution in Egypt and the subsequent tossing out of a dictator was fueled by Muslims (I know! Shocking, right?!) and in it's place it is going to be put into place by another DEMOCRACY.
HOLY SHIT, BATMAN.

You know, the several hundred million that don't happen to host that belief, go to work daily, and go home to a wife and kids - the ones that don't think that stoning people to death in the street is a bad thing?

I have a better statistic for you -
How many times do you have to cite the Daily Mail as a source and then a statistic that not only kills your argument, but pisses on it's grave and has sex with it's mother afterwords, does it take you to prove yourself incapable of holding a rational and reasoned conversation?
Just once.

Because 100% of the people who have done that before me have turned out to be morons.

Statistically proven.
