"DO NOT post racist, sexist or homophobic remarks"

remarks, as in racist, sexist or homophobic terms? like a word? or anytime you speak about in that subject area isn't allowed?

The subjects are not off-limits, you just can't make disparaging remarks about entire races, sexes, or sexualities.

so stating or posting scientific research that has any disparaging remarks or generalities that sheds a "negative light" on a sex/gender, that isn't allowed? Like for example, if I want to talk about why men earn more money than women in the US using statistics.

Your suggestion seems like it would be acceptable, of course it could be taken too far.

Disparaging remarks would be more along the lines of: "all women get hysterical over the slightest annoyance" or "all men are violent rapists". Tbh, you'd probably only get a warning even if you said that.

Well when I do speak on those subjects, like generalities, I use "most" never "all", they're both very different if speaking in generalities.

The rule mostly applies when someone is trying to deliberately insult a person or group. Using obviously racist, sexist or homophobic (calling someone a "fag" for instance) terms toward someone (or a group) is not tolerated. Personal insults are not acceptable in general but ones that fit the rule you are focusing on are treated more severely as they are wholey unnecessary. If you were using them in a strictly factual/statistical manner this would probably be acceptable within reason.
