Which one?
Both.

That would be an extremely short debate, not least because you've adopted an ontological position that is not supportable. If you had adopted a more circumspect position, such as 'it cannot be asserted that Relativity is a description of physical reality', then the debate would be even shorter, because I'd be in total agreement.

Oh. That's cool. :D

So how about you propose a topic?

Well, since you erected the asinine assertion that evolution is absurd, how about something along those lines? You never know, you might even learn something.

I'm good to go on pretty much any topic as long as it stands some chance of interest retention, but it was your preposterous contention that motivated me to proffer the invitation in the first place.

Ha ha...

How about something more rocky? I think most every rock formation brings great evidence that it was formed rapidly.

Explain how this was formed rapidly.

Of course you do, dear. Problem being, of course, that this nonsense was debunked in the 15th century by Leonardo and is further screwed over with reference to the categorical evidence of known deposition rates in the geological literature. If this is the best you can come up with, perhaps you're not ready.

Suit yourself. :D

What kind of education and learning have you received?
Earth Science degree. Currently doing some geophysics.

How does someone who apparently has an Earth Science degree come to the conclusion that "most every rock formation brings great evidence that it was formed rapidly?"

Someone who skipped most of the lectures?

I will accept both of these answers and also suggest the possibility of facebooking while in class. :p I've seen plenty of facebooking when sitting in my geology lectures.

I should hope one of these. The only other explanation I can think of is simply that Taiwan's standards of education on the subject are incredibly lax. An especially concerning possibility given the regions tectonic instability.

Dishonesty and misapprehension of science seems quite possible. However, while it is obvious that you intended that last sentence to be at least partially satirical, methinks that the area (depending on the specifics of the location) is regularly subject to earthquake drills for its inhabitants, and thus they at least know how to survive earthquakes. Whether or not Stripe is educated on the actual geology of such events, remains to be seen insofar, in spite of his claim otherwise. :)
