Newly Released Documents Tell of Alien Bodies from Roswell

This is very recent news and as of yet I've been unable to find an original source for the documents quoted (edit: I think it's from here http://vault.fbi.gov/ ), but newly released FBI documents seem to talk about bodies being recovered from Roswell.

Anybody heard anything about this?

Glad to see you posted this, as I seem to recall people suggesting the same thing and that the original story was merely a hoax.

Besides the language in the opening paragraph, there are two things that stand out for me as showing this isn't what people are making it out to be

First of all, the final sentence stating that there doesn't need to be any more investigation into this. How bizzare a planet would we have to live on when ALIENS have crashed landed on the planet, we've got their bodies and their ships in storage AND the story has leaked...but it doesn't merit any investigation. Not what I would expect in that situation, really. What I would expect in that situation is the FBI going "Some reporter is making up some horseshit. But it's patently horseshit so no need to roll out the party van". Oh look, thats what reaction this seems to be documenting.

Second of all, and this is possibly the biggest indicator - This is declassified info. What on earth would make them declassify a document that (apparently) heavily indicates the existence of aliens whilst still quite firmly denying aliens landing on the planet, or without an announcement saying "Yep, Roswell WAS real, consider your world rocked."? Nope, the fact they've made this an easy to obtain, non-secret, non-interesting document points to just how mundane it really is, and how mundane its content is.

Thirdly - A ship capable of interstellar travel but brought down by RADAR? pfft.
